    Love Wykkyd's framework!!

I personally enjoy the minimap add-on and the lorebook add-on. Gotta collect my lore.

I use it and quite like the functionality it adds. The info bar at the top is one of my "necessary" UI goodies now. I am a bit afraid to turn on the "NPC Subtitles" function though... Already heard enough of Miss "Hear ye, hear ye" in the town square, don't need to see it pop up every time I run by too ^.^

One thing i would like to see is an option to make the toolbar that has all the information be displayed in the same font as the maps and in-game books; it's ever so slightly immersion breaking to have this modern typeset in the UI

other than that, i absolutely LOVE wykkyd's framework ^^

Wykkyd's Framework is the one add-on that I cannot live without. The toolbar is perfect for my needs and some of the small things that the rest of the framework does, like auto-sheath, just makes this a must have for any player that is looking for useful add-ons.
I'm not as am as you drunk I think.

Or we could expect the developer of the game we pay for to provide this basic information in their UI.

You guys really should showcase the Minion addon manager. I absolutely love it (and Wykkyd's stuff, it's one of the first things I added). But frankly, addon management is a pain without Minion, I don't know how people do it - having to manually troll for updates, etc.

Minion puts it all in one place, I love it.

It's not really that bad, once you get used to it u can do it pretty quickly using the search provided in the site u download the addon.

Of course you can, but then you need to manually keep track of addon updates etc :) I use ESOUI for finding new addons, but use the client for installing it and to keep the addons up to date.

Depends how many addons you have. I have 47 though not all used.

I've got over 50 :P But alot of them are small simple quality of life improvements. Others, like ZrMM or Raetia Information toolbar are more visible but still incredibly useful and keeps me from having to dig through menus to see the same information. Heck, without Inventory Grid, I'd be forced to use lists for the inventory/bank and without the subfilters in Advanced Filters I'd go nuts.

Yeah, the absolute, #1 value of Minion is that before I fire up ESO every day, I fire up Minion, it tells me what addons need updating, I click one button, it updates them all, and I run ESO. Done.

Otherwise, I dunno, I guess I'd have to log in every week and somehow manually compare my download zip files to the update versions on each one? lol... nightmare. I, too, have around 50 addons. I'd have about 5 if I had to manually check for updates all the time on them.

Foundry Tactical Combat is a fantastic add-on you guys should consider for a spotlight. It's solid enough that I haven't looked around for other collections since. It has a clean health/mana/action bars setup and some other features: buff tracker, scrolling combat text, mini experience bar, and more. It has a solid community behind it too, at Tamriel Foundry.

I've nothing to do with it, I just like it a lot.

Really? Honestly? All this problems this game has that's "immersion breaking" and you focus on font? I didn't even know there was a difference until you pointed it out. Who the heck sees something like that and it just breaks the feel of the game for them?

How is it immersion breaking anyway? We have different fonts in real life, so why shouldn't they have different fonts in game life?

There's only a couple addons that are great. What we'd like to see featured can't be because this game doesn't allow them to be made. If it's not bad enough Zos butchered some game designs, it's worse when addons that fixed this were gutted because of API changes.

Are people even seriously developing addons for this game still? Is there still things left that can be done? Think the amount of unique and interesting addons coming out can be indicative of how well a game is doing.

I am using wykkyd's framework solely so I can make use of the outfitter, which to me adds a very valuable functionality to the game. While it is does work (mostly), it is also still quite buggy, and has not seen any updates for quite some time. If there was a viable alternative I would switch.

I use a lot of addons an like them a lot. What i dont like is the time it takes to configure and update these addons, just to have an ui that displays all the information i need. Why are basic functionalities like a clock, research timers, buff tracking, toolbars, combat text, a mini map, gear/skill bar presets etc. not included in the standard ui?

For immersion of course!! Obviously having these things and ability to turn them off to be more like the TES games is still too immersion breaking.

There are still alot of people developing addons and there are new ones coming all the time. Not to mention some addons are updates quite often. Granted there might be more than one addon doing the same thing, but everyone has different tastes. Several addons are barely noticable but still enhances the games quality of life.

What wold you personally want to see being doable in the api? For me, it would be proper buff display or the ability to revamp the actionbar.

Great add-on... Includes many things the game should have included in it's release- BUT that is a topic for another forum. This add-on has a lot of great features. I've had a couple issues while using it, but the developer says it is not the add-on, rather it is the game. Regardless, I use most of the features included with all of Wykkyd's add-ons. The little things like auto-sheath and hide helm make the game so much better imo. Good first spotlight!

What I like with Wykkyd's Frameworks is the info bar and how tiny it is. My UI doesn't break my immersion. I don't use many addons, I don't feel I need them to play the game well. I have like only 4.

Can I suggest that for future Addon spotlights that you consider including at least a few example screenshots. A picture saves a thousand words ;) and it's useful to see how it looks on the screen.

Its great how you can adjust the scale and turn on or off so many options for the info bar.

But then we wouldn't have comments like yours to "enjoy". Keep on being negative, we others can enjoy the add-on:)

PS. Ah haven't tried it yet, but sounds nice. I don't need all the info or even want(!) on screen , but some like macros for emotes sound nice.

    Cheers...

Only thing I miss in Minion is the addon thread. Been using it since it came out and Id say is mostly done regarding bugs so whoever didnt try it, do it.

I love Wykkyd. TESO Essentials is the most brilliant use of the framework and a huge timesaver.
I'm also very glad that you ONLY linked the reputable sites that give proper credit to add-on authors.

FTC, Factory Tactical Combat HUD Add on/Modifier should be the next featured add on's. Its something I cant live with out and I use it along side Wykkyd Framework!

Both add on's include stuff that should have already been built into the game before it launched!

It shouldnt be illegal as its a 3rd party GRAPHICS mod for your computer/game setting. This enhances your gfx setting and nothing else. But to be honest it looks like medium gfx on the default game.
