Not everyone left Auriels Bow. There were some in the Elite Guard, myself included, who felt that we've put too much time and effort into the campaign to run away. I've recruited those who stayed into The Evil Tyrannos and we have been able to accomplish things, even if they don't last for longer than 30 minutes. And there is another guild whose name unfortunately escapes me at the moment that is also gaining members. We worked together and managed to take back most of the EP keeps for a few hours, which is nice considering that lately its just been fighting at either our gates, Kingscrest, Farragut, and on rarer occasions Arrius. The North American AD probably can recognize quite a few of us at this point, particularly Moondie and Saladin's little vet gang. Though as soon as the Australians woke up, most of us were getting sleepy and so they zerged back everything. I really do feel like most of the problems here could be solved by cutting down the number of campaigns. Auriel's Bow was once the main pvp server, but having a 24/7 high population of AD drove most people to Wabbajack. And I'm pretty sure that some of those times when the AD population drops in Wabba is when we're managing to get stuff done over in AB so they have to come deal with us. I really hope something happens to deal with the unbalance here, because pvp doesnt have the same varied feeling it had a month ago when most of the fights are in our spawn zone.
what i read here: AD dominiated during parts of the day, other factions left the server, AD dominated most of the day.
so if you impose a 1.5x limit on one faction, you likely will still have scenarios where one faction will dominate at least is certain parts of the day. so the other factions players leave (why wouldnt you want the bonuses?) and that faction dominates mroe of the day, except now all those people that have that server set as home cannot log in, since if the other 2 factions have only 30 players in, then the third could only have 45 players in. if you happened to have home/guest to these servers you could be effectively locked out of any pvp.
pve bonuses given by pvp is, imo, the problem. pve players dont give a damn about the quality of pvp, they want an all faction map so they can get the bonuses consistently. other factions will have people leave a campaign because they dont get the bonuses consistently. the disparity has been created more by EP/DC leaving then new AD players joining the campaigns. this will happen as long as pve bonuses are given. as long as emperorship is given.
has pvp with pve rewards ever not led to large numbers 'gaming' the system? i remember when SWGs made a pvp jedi rank system with powerful abilities. people logged on every day to trade deaths with opposing faction players in locked guild hall 'fight clubs.'
Wabba doesn't want any of you.. Go away... All AB has brought over are a bunch of scroll trolls and AP farmers who do nothing for the good of the faction. We keep hearing about some DJcoin.. Yea.. Stay home.
