Big frame rate drop

I have an Nvidea 760 graphics card which seems to have been running pretty well considering all the issues with ESO and these cards but I've suddenly been getting frame rates below 25 in cities (currently in Riften). I have ESO optimised in the nvidea experience and was wondering whether any one else had been experiencing issues.

Just to update, I'm no showing 50 fps out in the open, this was previously 95-100!

Have you updated the gfx drivers lately? Could be also the profile. I find that sometime those profiles actually make things far worse than manual tweaking. Try setting AF and AA manually and sew if you get better results.

Did it happen without you doing anything? Did you change anything in between measuring frame rates? Also a full specs list would help loads.

I rarely check frame rates, I did so a while back as others were commenting on issues with Nvidea 760 cards; mine seemed to be working fine (around 50 fps in cities and up to 100 in the wild). If I don't notice an issue I just play.

I checked today as I was noticing issues in Riften.

I've got a first generation i5 processor, an nvidea Geoforce 760 card and 12GB ram; EOS in installed on a solid state drive. It's not a cutting edge system but still above the recommended specs. I'm running the latest beta driver and have the game optimised in the Nvidea Experience program.

Yeah your system is sure enough to run the game. I personally would try these things. Make sure nothing is eating up your CPU by checking it via task manager while in game. Antivirus can do this. Revert the nvidia profile to default. Try doing a clean install of your drivers with something like DriverSweeper, Google how to do it if you don't know.

I have noticed on mine that riften slows my system down but its not really an issue for me in towns, if outside in combat is fine then that's all that bothers me to be honest. You can check your fps in game by doing /fps in the chat window if you don't know already.
