Does anybody know of any way besides decreasing graphics settings to improve the frames-per-second in Elder Scrolls Online?

That is an incredibly vague question, to the point where it is impossible to answer it. 1) What kind of hardware are you running, and 2) What kind of performance are you currently seeing?

    1) buy a better computer or upgrade components
    2) move to a place near the game server in Texas
    3) pray that ZOS gets around to optimizing the code

I played the Wildstar beta during the past two days. Their game server also seems to be in Texas.. Even though the beta still has debug code which eats into fps, the responsiveness is much better than in eso. Know how it feels like you are moving around in a pool of sticky mush in eso?

    Minor things you can do:
    4) remove all addons
    5) don't multitask other programs in the background
    6) update your gpu & network card drivers, also firmware on your router

I recently opened another thread which is actually digging very deep into what currently looks like a software caused processor issue where the OS is not efficiently scheduling threads

This issue seems to cause a framedrop of about 30-40fps DIFFERENCE between win 7 and 8 under certain circumstances
