Castle/Resource Capture Credit

I have been wondering this for a while now - what does it take to get capture credit for a castle or a resource point?

- Staying at the flag, so that the flag capture progress bar is visible?
- Staying in the vicinity of the flag, not directly on the pad?
- Being inside/on the castle walls / resource perimeter?
- Being in the outer vicinity of the castle / resource point?

Idk its wierd, I feel there might be some bugs in the works. Theres alot of times were i dont get credit. I understand the times I show up at the end, couldnt get any combat in, I see the flag change and no credit. visa versa.
Then there are times im running towards the keep at a distance when it changes and i get credit. I'm stumped myself.
