The promished "lag free" server, what happend?

What ever happend to the lag free servers?
What happend to ZOS being the company that would give us PVP whitout 30 sec delays.

EU Chrysamere is a nightmare to play on.
When WE<
"not only me" engage in combat everything just goes to hell.
Everyone from different country's talk about 2 toi 30 sec lag, people fighting and killing people without taking dmg, and then suddenly the servers keep out and dies.

Sieges not being able to be taken down, skills not casting or doing any dmg. people not dyeing ect ect.
Seriusly, bug after bug after bug, and lag after lag after lag?

Do you call this a successfully launch?

Im so disappointed in you ZOS.

    Hey, they are planning to move the EU servers to Europe already.

    What would you expect when they cant even find a host in all Europe?

    When is an MMO ever lag free? lol Expected the expected and you would be disappointed. :p Like I expected a bad launch shoddy work cause every MMO released in the last 4 years or so has done the same thing. I expected this. I'll live with it and way till it gets better. I love ES lore (not a damned fanboiiii). They are moving EU to EU all you can do is wait. Either stop playing till it happens or stop complaining about it. Anything NEW will always have issues unless it can be tested fully and are not forced to release things early do to the suits and the stock holders. Even in EU it wont be lag free for a months even they have issues with this tech which they understand are trying to fix. I suspect by the time they get EU servers situated though most of the issues will be taken care of.

    I still havent gotten a response to my Technical problem, which proberly only ZOS can respond to.
    But they properly wont, because who wants to admit they have crappy servers.

    Looking at that image, you have something else going on. 8mbps I/O network activity is not low activity.

    Your ESO network traffic is only using 300 B/sec which is 0.22% of 1 megabit and you have 8 mbps going on somewhere else. You network seems congested with other traffic from your pc.

    I just logged in to test it and was sitting around 10 Kbps during login, with a 2 second spike of 700 kbps when loading other characters on the screen. It stabilized to 34kbps after loading.

    The launchers utilises a lot of bandwidth when you open it and log in. That screen shoot is 10 sec after a relog because of yet another Cyrodiil crash, which is why its at 8mb. I can also read from your response that you haven't looked at other than the picture, so yea...

    Other than that, our entire guild is having these issues. This Guild has members from GB, Sweden, Denmark, Findland ect ect, and they all experience this.

    lol I haven't bought an EA game in ages besides SWTOR and look how that turned out. Its people like you that give MMO's such a bad name. Its already a known issue what the *** else do you want free candies lifetime sub and mail order wife or 6?     Not much I just want my game not to be unplayable, I do not think its to much to ask. Ps: Im not an lesbian so a mail order wife would get bored whit me ;)
    Free candy would be nice though.

    Greetings @Samiri‌ ,

    Could you please follow those troubleshooting steps:
    • Include an exception for the ESO.exe file (located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\) and the launcher to your anti-virus software and your fire-wall.
    • On the same ESO.exe file and on your launcher, please make sure to do the following:
      • Right-click the file and select Properties at the bottom of the list.
      • Once the Properties window is open, select the Compatibility tab.
      • Select the option to “Run this program in compatibility mode” and from the drop-down menu, select “Windows XP SP3” (it may say Service Pack 3).
      • Select the option “Always run this program as an Administrator” For ease of use, right-click the eso.exe file and select “Send To…”
      • From the subsequent slide-out menu, select “Desktop (Create Shortcut)”. This will allow you a very easy, quick way of opening a game running in compatibility mode.
    • Please make sure that the following outbound ports are open:
      - TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
      - TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
      - TCP / UDP Ports 49100 through 54000
    • If you're using a wireless internet connection, please try to use a Ethernet connection instead.
    • Please make sure you don't have any LAN management software installed/activated on your computer (i.e Hamachi) - If so, please uninstall/deactivate them temporally.

    Dear @ZOS_HugoP‌

    My FPS do not necessarily drop when there is lag, but I will set it to Xp SP3.

    Eso.exe is white listed in Windows Firewall, using Avast Antivirus, so no other Firewall.

    Ports have been forwarded in my router, running whit cable and no WIFI.
    I do not have any Lan management software running.

    Ill give this a test at peak houres, and report back.

    Dear Hugo, do tell why ZOS lie? I mean I upgraded to i7 4770k and 280x oc edition and fps drops randomly but lag, that is unfixable. All the time ability delay. We will have that huge lag until ZOS move servers in Europe.

    Please stop lying and post so called fixes, because there is only one real fix here. Europe server based on Europe soil. And I hope you earned enough money from first month because if this continues you will be f2p before summer.

    And Hugo check review of your company game. 5-6 of 10. What does that tells you? Revolutinary game or some averege product?

    If its a coincidence or if something worked im not sure but last night did run better if I look at it in an overall aspect. Sometimes were people were complaining about lag I had none. I how ever seem to crash more now, than I did before 4 Crashes last night, were entering intro Cyrodill is a pain because you fight the endless loading boss.

    I will type how the next days of progress works. Let me know if you want me to do anything else.

    Could you also provide us a game consultant file? It may help us identify the reason of your crashes, and a possible workaround/fix for that issue.

    I am afraid its not that simple. If you would play on an US server, you would face the exact same problems.

    The client is still struggling with the pvp performance, additional tweaks like a 64 bit client, a better multi core usage will help wonders. Wow had these exact same issue´s at Vanilla and if you play it today, there is zero lag. We can only hope that the Engine can be tweaked and that the Dev´s are working on it.

    Your PC should run the game just fine without any FPS drops, its just the client - give it some time.

    The only thing that an EU based server would fix is that the Datacenter at Houston wouldn't had to host both servers and the technicians might get more sleep at night. It might speed up the log in process and the loading screens, but I doubt it would improve your FPS in pvp. These drops come from the client sadly.

    No, it would not be the same as if they were playing on the NA server in the U.S. It might not be as bad as playing on the EU server (located in Texas) while in Europe but it wouldn't be the same as a U.S. player playing on the NA server.

    Greetings @Samiri‌ ,

    Regarding your crashes, it appears that some files of the game client are not responding properly, this may be due to corrupted files and/or another software interfering with them. Could you please follow those steps:
    • Start windows in safe mode with networking
    • Start the launcher and run the repair function.
    • Reboot your PC in normal mode, and make sure that you do not have any running process that may interfere with your internet connection and/or the game (via your task manager)
    • Your report file shows that you're are using two monitors at the same time, it that the case? If yes please make sure that they both use the same resolution:
      according to your report file you have one using 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) and another one using 1400 x 1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)
    • Please make sure that you do not have any 3D options enable in your graphics settings, as it may ask more resources from your computer and lead to crashes in some situations.
    • Do not hesitate to lower the graphics settings of the game - but please make sure that you're display device is using the same resolution setting (i.e If you set the game as 1400 x 1050 (60Hz), make sure that your display device use the same settings.)

    You can also turn the Windows User Account Control off temporally (Please make sure to turn it back on):
    • Press Windows Key+X on your keyboard to display the Tools Menu, and select Control Panel. Or, right-click the lower left corner of your monitor to display the Tools Menu, and select Control Panel.
    • Type UAC in the search field in the upper right corner of the window.
    • Click Change User Account Control settings in the search results.
    • Then do one of the following:
      - To turn UAC off, drag the slider down to Never notify, and click OK.
      - To turn UAC on, drag the slider up to the desired level of security, and click OK.
    • You may be prompted to confirm your selection or enter an administrator password.
    • Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.

    Hello @ZOS_HugoP‌
    • Not posible to run Launcher in Safe mode, Process starts up, no program shows up. "Must be terminated in Device manager"
    • 2nd Screen turned of (power cord removed)
    • What program should interfere? I have none I know of
    • 3D options? Its a 3D game is it not? Maybe im miss understanding, I do not have the 3D glasses if that is what you mean.
    • Lowering settings does nothing for Fps. Fps stayes at the same even lowering from Ultra to normal.

    (ps the screen is removed but stills show up under resolution but it is removed.)

    I got the ticket, thank you.

    Just to clarify the lag is not fixed either, I tried joining another campaign to test today and the lag was bad at times but was terrible at other times. Sometimes you can literately not even get out of stealth, people from my raid talks about ultimates being cast after they actually died and respawned.

    The Fps seems to not get affected much even though I change from High to low.
    I had 4 crashed this night.
    Im looking forward to the ticked.
    I will keep updating this thread as long as my case is not resolved to keep you posted.

    I'm always lag free in games, never had skills stop working on me or even found myself unable to move yet everything else is moving around me as normal...EVER in an MMO. Yet this happens to me all the time in ESO.

    I'm running an i7 2600k @4.6GHz and a gtz780sc acx for reference.

    There is something seriously wrong with the netcode of this game, or the servers, or w/e. But the problem is in THIS game.

    My support case whit a CS gem is still running.
    The GM has asked me to update my direct x (which it allready was) and portforward some different ports and flush DNS.

    I am testing these changes.
    No one has still not said it is because of servers being in USA, and its not on the Woking to do list or listed as somthing Zos is aware of being an issue. So I would not just sit and wait for servers to move which could not be the issues.

    Make support tickets so they know something is up.
    I will report my changes.
