I see a lot of hate towards the zerging that goes on in Cydril, which is fair enough.

As a result, would people / guilds be interested in setting up small scale group fights, whether you want to bring a pre made's or just pug it out. We could find an area in Cydril, and just fight there?

I was a big fan of "scenairos" for use of a better word in other MMO's and would be happy to assist in trying to set this up?

If you or your guild are keen, post/comment here or send me a pm - lets have some fun!

Do what people did in daoc; make gank/guild roaming groups, its even easier in ESO the daoc.

I have, but I also like to do fairly equal fights rather than gank a few then get smashed over by a zerg. Unlike you I dont enjoy just ganking 2-3 people with my 5 guild buddies, its *** easy fights.
In addition running with the zerg is pointless, it will all just become like GW2

A Arena, you have to pay for a match.
    There are no rewards.
I think it would be great, but very few would use it, because no rewards.
For most people it is not about challenge or fair fights or anything, but about rewards.

If you include good rewards for just the winner population will fade away. (Everyone getting less than with zerging will not participate.)

If you include good rewards for everyone it will just be farmed for rewards.

Maybe implement a betting system, but unfotunately this is in this games context a bad idea because bots would abuse the betting system.

All in all it is not worth the effort in my opinion.

@Kililin I am not advocating the implementation of an area, ZOS already said they were not putting one in. I am looking to set up a player organised small scale fights. Post a time, the area and the rules and have premade/small group fights. Something I think is missing and really enjoyed in this game.

Maybe this was better placed in the Alliance Warm campain's but I felt it would get more traction here.

The rewards are getting close fights which if you enjoy pvp is something people quiet enjoy.

Yeah still, an arena would serve the same purpose.

And free you of the inevitable problems:
You will be accused of kill trading, even if you are not.
As soon as someone jealous of your organised group/guild, notices what you are doing, they will try to zerg-steamroll you.
    etc.pp.

Best bet would probably be a designated area for roaming groups with an agreed code of honor* and a common irc channel. If a zerg or dishonorable behavior is spotted, the groups assist each other.

    No cheating, no adding, etc.

Unfortunately while and area would be cool, its not going to happen and you need to move on. Yes zerging is a problem, but if they really care that much about us well w/e.
I dont think it would be accused of kill trading, have done this in previous games and worked fine, just make people aware.
Yes for this to work there would need to be agreed "set of rules" but I think that can be worked out, plus it brings together server communities, plus with the guesting ability guilds/groups from any server can come and join.
