Veteran Dungeon Difficulty Hierarchy

This is a two folded inquiry.
1. Of ALL Vet Dungeons, what would be the listing from Easiest to HARDEST?
2. Similar to above, but what was INTENDED to be the Easiest -> Hardest. In other words, which dungeons did Bethesda make for V1, V2, etc.

    There's currently only 6 Veteran dungeons avaliable.

    Tier 1: (V1-5)
    The Banished Cell
    Spindlecluth
    Fungal Grotto

    Tier 2: (V6-10)
    Wayrest Sewers
    Darkshade Caverns
    Elden Hollow

    Hard to say, Dungeon difficulty depends on a lot of things, most of all on your own group. If you got no AOE and CC you will most likely die in every Dungeon no matter what.



    My personal opinion on difficulty: Hard on Top, Easy on Bottom


    Elden Hollow (V6-10) - probably the hardest overall, especially the nice hardmode on last boss (achievement)

    Darkshade Caverns (V6-10) - arguably one of the harder dungeons, Engine Boss and the Dwemer rush before can overwhelm most groups quickly

    Fungal Grotto (V1-6) - many groups wont get past the second boss, most likely responsible for most of the whining concerning vet dungeons atm. Yet with an
    organized grp not that big of a deal. need a bit of everything: strong aoe an single dps, cc and most importantly: people who can move their asses.

    Spindleclutch (V1-6) - only real difficulty is the dps check second boss (Gargoyle) Everything else pretty easy.

    Wayrest Sewers (V6-10) - probably the most efficient farming dungeon at max vet level. no hard bosses (except maybe the Lich if your healer isn't that good) and a good group can clear it in less than 15min

    Banished Cells (V1-6) - similar to Wayrest sewers, decent dungeon for lower vet farming. no hard bosses overall. If you can handle the trash with AOE and CC you will clear it quite easily

    Easiest to hardest:
    The Banished Cell - Good learning dungeon
    Spindlecluth - Has a dps check and requires more teamwork
    Wayrest Sewers - A T2, but not particularly hard once you learn the first 2 bosses mechanics. Final boss is very easy.
    Fungal Grotto - Really tactics required wise, its among the hardest, but as a tier 1, the stats required are a bit lower the DC/EH.
    Darkshade Caverns - Very tough boss fight, but you can somewhat trivilize it by taking 2 or more healers as there is no dps check.
    Elden Hollow - VERY tough end boss fight that can' be trivialized with extra healers if you want the undaunted achievement , as that adds a DPS check. Without the achievement, its about on par with Darkshade, as you can go slow and steady, but still requires a bit more team work.

    Imo they are all very challenging when done at their minimum levels, and actually fungals probably near impossible at V1.. So in turns of what was intended - fungal being a T1, i imagine it's meant to be easier then wayrest, tho it's simply not. Fungals still challenging and lengthy at V10, and while wayrest we can zerg 3 man in 10mins.

    Once everyones V10 and everyones had some experience in each, the challenge can be severe dimishined. None require super fast twitch skills like some mmo dungeons (EG: NWs Castle Never). But most do at least require some focus and timing.

    Hopefully Craglorn features even more difficult VR dungeons.

    In terms of what was intended.. I've noticed a pattern through the leveling dungeons and VR ones that the Ebonheart Pacts dungeon were always the longest, most detailed and most complex . Being they showed videos fo these the earliest , I imagine they worked the longest and hardest on these, and intended the mto be the hardest.

    And in some ways Darkshade can be harder then elden. It definetely has harder trash monsters - Dwemer Centurions can aoe 1 shot your entire group when they are in the mood. So yea think the devs intended for it to be the "hardest". But the end boss kind of gives you a bit more room to breath since there is no CC effects, so when you get your healers stats/skill up beyond a certain level, its not too bad... Befoer that however, it can be plain impossible.
    vs Elden, which requires far less healing, thus can't be trivilized as easily, and it relies more on the dps.
