Please consider ending all campaigns early and make changes

Honestly, with all the abuse of several skills that have been rampant in PvP, once they fix all these holes and imbalance issues, they really should end the campaigns early.

This would allow everyone a fresh start and hopefully they drop the total campaigns available which would go a long way in helping to balance all these lopsided campaigns or give large guilds who want the easiest path of least resistance and dominate low pop campaigns endlessly a harder time in doing so.

I think lowering how long a campaign lasts from 90 to 45-60 days would be more appropriate. AP also needs to be balanced out in terms of how you earn it, but you will always find players who find the most "optimal" way farm it.

Regarding Emperor status, I would propose a change to the system in which your leader board AP ranking will be "reset" or reduced by 50% after becoming emperor, but you will never lose any AP you can spend.

This would allow other players more opportunities to achieve the emperor status while giving the hard core players a reason to try and hold the 6 inner keeps longer if they want to keep their emperor powers, while also encouraging ongoing competition to build up the AP ranking to achieve it again.

I have seen players who are on 10+ hours a day comment on zone chat and in other forums how they have no chance of catching up, which is partial as to why some guilds are leaving these super high AP leaderboards in search of a lower end campaign that has emperor in the 500-600k range, not the 3-4 million range as we see on a few campaigns now.

Create 1-2 campaigns that are set for lvl 10-49, and then the other campaigns for Veteran Ranked players. This would help promote more fun and a more balanced opportunity instead of watching Veteran players steam roll over non-veteran players as I see every day. (I am VR 5 almost 6, and if your not Veteran rank, I have no trouble destroying them)

Just my shared thoughts and suggestions which I hope Zenimax will see and consider.

Please do just end the current campaigns. Zenimax, things really can not get too much worse from a PR standpoint if you end the current campaigns sooner than later due to the exploiters and unbalance in the first month. The first campaign has been a wash most of them are dead a few are alive. Many people play in the active ones and then quest/skyshard in the ones owned by their faction. Please Zenimax for the sake of this game's future cut your losses.

Obviously the PvP in this first month has not worked out in the way Zenimax thought it would. Most of the PVP campaigns are completely dead. What Zenimax MUST do is scale back the number of campaigns to three or four. The travel time and lack of action is killing pvp.

This have been mentioned many times and Zenimax didn't say a single thing about it nor in it's outlook. The PvP in this game is done.

It's simply painful and frustrating to see so many of our alliance members unsub from ESO, after a major discussion took place recently within our guild and alliance voice chats.

Many of them were dedicated beta testers for nearly a year, and many of these issues were seriously addressed by these beta testers in both video and detailed write ups.

So why did Zenimax choose to ignore all of this? I seriously want to know! This whole mentality and attitude of "waiting and assessing" is the core reason so many are leaving what could have been a real PvP 3 faction experience which many of us grew up and loved in DAOC. (emphasis on "could have been")

From a development stand point, these balance issues should have been addressed BEFORE live, not "looking into things" and "reviewing feedback" 30+ days later after we explicitly show proof of these PvP game breaking issues starting week 1. You know, the exact same issues your beta testers showed you before launch?

It would be very helpful to hear from Zenimax directly on how you plan to move forward with regards to the current campaigns and what we can honestly expect to see moving forward.

You should have a pretty clear picture and understanding already, especially after the first / now nearly 6+ weeks of seeing how destructive things have become in PvP based on the imbalances you were well aware of prior to launch.

The campaign Scoreboards will reset in 6 weeks. Just wait for that to make your run for emperor. Its not like you lose anything in the mean time... Things are being balanced as they go. This is how the PVP is in every game after launch. DAOC didn't have its great PVP for 6 months after launch

Nope, just wait the two months. It will happen all over again anyways.

I don't undertand why people think it will somehow fix itself when the campaigns reset... People are still going to go on the same campaigns as before, all that will change is that the score will reset.

They should have asked the first Emperor during the interview "So what's it like cheating, exploiting, and hacking your way into first place?"

    LOL

I want to see a video of THAT.

As I said in many other posts and I keep seeing others mentioning the same concerns.

The only was us as a community to really show them that they can't fool us or ignore us is to hurt their pockets. I unsubbed as well and you're welcome to follow.

The amount of butthurt some of you have over not being emperor is pretty funny.

Some of the lowest pop campaigns should just be closed, rather than ending the good ones.

I would say close the 3-4 least populated campaigns (I'm sure ZOS has statistics showing which those would be) to start off with and see how it goes.

What if those low pop campaigns like their campaigns? I see too many qq posts about wanting smaller scale less zerg pvp, and you would take that away.

    @Ragnar_Lodbrok‌

The low pop campaigns have the least amount of small scale PvP.

On the high pop campaigns, you can sometimes find small fights by camping transit lines or the NPC quest givers in the cities. Sometimes you even get random open field encounters or public dungeon fights.

On low pop campaigns, literally the only fighting to be had is at keeps.

I agree with your post for the most part expect the dividing of campaigns by level. Eventually the lower level campaigns would be empty, and people would farm them on lower level toons to get the emperor skill line. Instead they should make a few campaigns that have lower population caps in them. That way not every campaign is identical and people can choose if they what large scale siege warfare or more skirmish type warfare.

Hate to say it but the longer this continue the more players are leaving.
The pve in this game inside the Veteran zones is boring, quest after quest after quest but no realy gains in gear / power / amusement.
And to think you need 2 whole other factions to grind out makes me want to unsub.

But doing pvp right now aint that much better either...
Only with our guild events i have fun, but otherwise its a zerg versus zerg where the zerg with most V10's wins the battle.

There are seriously so many bugged skills and passives that i start to think that this mmo needs to go back to the drawing board and we need a FF ARR fix before release this abomination again.

But this aint going to happen so a few free days here and there and band aid here and there and voila keep paying and playing.
There are tons of people quiting already and you can see it happening.

Before fanboys are running us down that this game is awesome !!!
Wait untill they announce box sales and current sub numbers.
Its going free to play in a matter of months.
Specialy with this many frustrated players leaving the game.

Wildstar / Archeage / WoD are on the horizon also, so the cashgrab was timed perfectly.
