[bug] Phantom exe ??

Last 2 days I was experiencing extremely low fps (3-10) and I attributed the phenomenon to my don't graphic card. But today while attempting to patch, the launcher kept in failing giving me the error that some files were being used (such as the game running said the launcher) I double checked with the process manager (ctr alt del) and the game wasn't in the processes list. I decided to restart the computer and the patch went without issues.
Could totally be my computer *** up, I just figured I'd mention it if you wanted to investigate
