John Cleese is aweome. I cant remember who else is in this game. What other voices do you guys want? Maybe ZOE will hook us up if we make some suggestions!
If I am going to quote someone, it's going to be me.

None. Getting prominent people for voice overs is a waste of money which should be used on something more substantial.

Nancy Cartwright (bart simpson's voice) doing the voice from Molag Bal.
Seriously now. Claudia Black, she did the voice from Morrigan in Dragon Age Origins (the only good dragon age). o:)

I'm enjoying hearing Tuvok from Voyager, he voices Redguards.

Celebrity voice I'd like to hear would be Queen Elizabeth II that would be awesome

I know right, you cant make a light hearted forum these days without Mr. Serious and Mr.Stern ruining everyones fun. They can do everything but answer a simple question, geesh! What is wrong with you people, reading yahoo comments put you in a rage or something?

BTW thanks Kiwi, Firmament. At least you two dont have something stuck up your you know what making you all anal and old.

Agree and what Mr serious and Mr stern have to say is always total meaningless shite like I'm not having any fun or enjoying any of it until they "fix the game" cos I'm mad as hell that every single bit is like totally broken, mehhhh mummy I broke my mouse and its their fault cos the whole game is bitterly broken wrong and I have nothing original to say apart from "fix it".

At least the spelling is difficult for you.

I agree. This game spent too much money in some areas and not enough in others.

Rather see them hire some experienced people to slot in some key areas at Zen. A few of their departments could use some knowledgeable people.

    Straighten this game out.

None, less ''celebrity'' focus there is, the better. I mean you could propably hire 10 guys that can do 3-4 voices each at the same price as you get a celebrity that can do 2-4 voices.

They should have the guy from the Princess Bride (the smart guy, during the scene with the poison) "Inconceivable!"

Celebrity, perhaps not, but experienced voice actors make a world of difference to a game, as many game studios have learned. If they are voiced by amateurs, it really shows, and I'm quite pleased with the quality in ESO so far.

Plus, you can name a celeb, and people know who you're talking about, and can say "yeah, that *kind of* voice would be great in ESO!" - doesn't have to be that person, just... that kind :)

More voice actors would always be nice, though more variety costs disk space: for NPCs, each new voice you add means a new set of *default action sounds*, too - the laughs and grunts, greetings and farewells, and general reactions to things like entering or leaving combat, being hit, falling, entering a nice area, and so on.

    If I had my druthers...

I reckon Seth MacFarlane could do just about anything, and I'd like to hear his Khajiit.

Christopher Walken... hrm. Actually, no. I love him to bits, but no. There's no race with an accent that he'd work for.

Arnold Schwarzenegger for the Nords. Really. Wooden Austrian acting would actually be perfect, there.

    Helen Mirren. Tracy Ullman.

For the Scots... Robbie Coltrane. Sean Connery. Billy Connolly (yeah!) And Katie Leung, who played Cho Chang in Harry Potter, has a lovely Scottish accent.

I think Scottish accents could work, whether Highland or Glaswegian, but what other dialects and accents? There's nothing there for Welsh actors, I feel, nor Irish. Come to that, Brummie, Geordie, Scouse, Mancunian, Cockney ... they'd all feel kind of wrong, too, but could work in a town setting if their accent wasn't too harsh.

But I feel the best accents would be from the less city-based accents, like the Black Country, West Country, Yorkshire, Norfolk... those are the ones I'd like to see, but I don't think there are many voice actors from those parts :(

Jean Gilpin, she voiced Elenwen, Boethiah and Meridia in Skyrim. Disappointed that she wasn't in the game.

I highly doubt they will get any new ones.

It's one thing to sell a million copies of a game to pay for the mega costs of production..

It's entirely another to get enough subscriptions to pay for even more high cost actors.

They may have some kind of contracts where they can the existing ones to do new lines in the future, but I dont see any new celebrity joining the game.

I know it's horrible sacrilege, but I'd love to hear the cast of Log Horizon voicing an easter egg tribute to their characters somewhere in the game. I had a total LH moment when leaving the Rift group dungeon via the tunnel and ending up on a cliff overlooking Stonefalls the other night. "This is why we adventure!" :)

Sir David Attenborough, David Tennant, and Michael Palin from the Brit side and Morgan Freeman and Chuck Norris on the US side. I'd die laughing if they had Bill Clinton talking to a chick in a blue dress somewhere.

Altmer and Dunmer tend to speak RP in the game, but the Bosmer speak Indistinct Regional British, or Americanized Cockney. I think there's a little wiggle room for accents in there. And hey, Sheogorath must have picked up his accent somewhere.
