Underdog system

What do people think of it, will it increase the participation in campaigns that are not used by certain factions due to population dynamics, should it be calculated quicker that the proposed 3ish day population numbers?

That's gonna be the same thing that happened in Warhammer Online Age Of Reckoning. If I recall correctly they intoduced alike underdog systems and nerfed AOE nearly in the same step. After that the "battlefield" turned into a ghost town. Zerging 100 times the same content is kinda super odd. There was no chance for "smal" groups to defeat zerg, so the underdog system was useless.

    Same thing in GW2.

It was a good balance change with population problems and overpopulated factions.

I played Warhammer online for a long time and that is where my interest for the underdog system came from. I actually loved the underdog system, and found it did not completely remove people, it actually encouraged small group roaming in outnumbered zones because the rewards were so great. I guess it depends how it scales from the normal rewards.

DO you think you will switch to play under populated campaigns?

I agree on that. I used to play a WE ganker in WAR surprising ppl moving from camp to brawl, so for me the underdog system as such was a big benefit.

What I wanted to say was, that the introduction of underdog system is a hidden "fix" for the AOE nerf. They know that after AOE nerf ppl will zerg like hell, so they need to steer against that with underdog.

[EDIT] Yes, by all means I will switch to a low populated campain to gank the hell outta brainless zerglings when they are all alone.

    this.
underdog bonus with the inability tu bust zergs when beeing outnumbered is just useless.
