I am aware that this topic probably doesn't belong here, and all of you have my apologies, but it is mostly affects PvP, although it is a pure lore and not a pvp mechanic issue.
I do not know if anyone thought of this before (probably has), but I haven't found any topic on the issue; but, it occurred to me that the Vampires and Werewolves shouldn't be allowed to be campaign emperors.
Leaders on the board, sure.
Force to be reckoned with? Of course.
Should they have some kind of edge? (sorry, weres)
Sadly, yes.
But be Emperors? Nope, not really.
I just can't see man/mer/beasties following a vampire/wolf.
It is not in ESO/human/mer etc. nature.
I know it is akin to opening a can of worms, but this game and Elder Scrolls are
about freedom and choices and sometimes it scales poorly towards pvp.
Simple fact is some of us are Vampires/Werewolves, and it was a choice.
Would it suck to be barred from being an Emperor?
Yup. But it was a choice you made.
Afaik, campaign wars are between 3 factions/sides and all of them hold both "species" in contempt. Why would they follow something/someone they despise?
Sure, I would love to see mini vamp/were factions with something akin to
Vampire Lords and Big Bad Alphas, but that is an implementation/balancing nightmare and a delightful phantasy.

Disclaimers:
1. If there was already discussion on this, I am sorry, but try searching and sifting through searchwords "emperor, vampire, wolf"....
2. I am not in any way trying to imply or insinuate that Emperors that are vamps/weres have not earned their title.
They absolutely did. Hats off and kudos to you.
