People are stupid, vampires are overpowered

Keep door is open, only NPCs inside but HURR DURR nobody wants to run in, instead they'd rather range and get killed by flaming oil, and anyone who does run in is instantly killed by vampires and their stupid bats everywhere.

Vampires are overpowered, 3 vet 10 vampires just wiped out about 15 of us. When will the overpowered vampires be nerfed?

I think it's stupid to call people stupid.

BTW, perhaps it's not 3 vet 10 vampires that wiped out 15 people, maybe it's 3 highly skilled players with awesome equipment and really low ping that wiped out 15 less skilled players with weak hardware and lag.

I don't know, I don't PVP, but that is the argument that I generally hear.

1 THING thas has non sense and really stupid is that an utimates on vamp costs lesser than a standard mana ability.
Ultimates should be powerfull skills that should not be easy to recharge and use it.
Vamp bonus + bonus suit armor + passives = OMG Ultimate spam!!!!!
Where is the sense and the logic in this???
Not to mention the combo with a vamp DK......
Staff has really to work on these problems, serious.

Please , do show me the magic trick you are using which just gave you a veteran 10 which is also a vampire with the full set ...

Oh wait , you actually had to play all the way there and get all that right? So yeah , time and effort. They did not win a lottery and got veteran owning char right into their hands out of nowhere.

Indeed , i also got this thing you call real life , and my top char is a templar veteran 1 atm.

That does not mean i agree that should nerf vet10 players , cause i know i will get there eventually , and when i do , i will be able to enjoy having done so.



In the end , i dont even mind the nerf to vampires , im quite used to playing vampires in the other ES games , reason i became one in this game , but not like in the single player ES games , i play a templar in this one instead of an assassin , which does not fit well with the vampire setting. If they nerf it badly , i will just go back to normal till they balance it right.

Im betting shortly after the nerf hammer hits the vampire , it will hit both the DK and the sorc quite hard also, the nerf hammer will come to everyone eventually heh , it always does.

Developers tell players and market the game to players saying "Small organized groups will be able to take out large groups". So 3 vet-10s well geared, well built, kill 15 lower level players who zerg like re-re's and they're bad and need the nerf? Seems like its working as intended to me...

The vampire ability is over powered I suspect while they might get improved one of several things will happen. I saw 1 Vamp kill 20 players all Vet1 or higher and it wasn't a long fight using cover it was just spamming bats and mist form all over in seconds.
Nerf on the number of people bats hit by a lot
Unable to get the heal of the bats while in mist form
Huge increase in the ultimate cost of bats.

People need to stop saying vampires are overpowered.

There are two current issues with vampires that need to be tweaked. The first thing is how bat swarm works with ultimate reduction abilities/gear. Bat swarm doesn't need to be changed, the ultimate reduction does. This isn't a vampire issue, its a mechanics issue across the board. Change ultimate reduction, leave bat swarm alone.

The next issue is Mist form. This ability needs to be tweaked, plain and simple. It's simply too good at the moment.

Sweeping "vampires are overpowered" statements need to stop. Everyone needs to be specific as to why they're stronger than they need to be. Sweeping statements like "nerf vampires" doesn't help the balancing of the game.

ye leave batswarm alone to be able to vipe 6 ppl first, then another ppl second in 10-20 sec you really good thinker.... It should do 10th-5th dmg over time than it does now.

I've never died to someone using a single bat swarm. Couple that with the fact that I'm not god's gift to pvpers and i'll have to deduce that you are just a horrible player.

3 v 15 doesn't sound OP at all really. That could easily be you just getting out played.

The only problem with Vampire is the Ultimate Cost Reduction stacking.

Currently, you do these things:

1. Be a Sorc or DK
2. Be a Stage 4 Vampire
3. Use Akaviri Dragonguard Set (or other ult cost reduction set)
4. Get essentially free Ultimate
5. Spam Bat Swarm

But the fact that 3 of them killed 15 of you isn't a problem unless they did it through Ultimate spam. If they all had their Ultimates up and were using AoEs, and if you guys were playing poorly (grouping up on them, failing to call targets, ect.), it makes sense.

what does that have to do with vr10 tho? a lvl 40 can have those sets and have the ultimate cost 4(only if they are sorcs tho, other classes can get it down to 34 max atm)

ppl need to realize that vr doesnt rly matter. those slightly better stats compared to a vr1 dont mean much rly. sure iif u compare a fresh vr1 with l40 gear to a fully purpled out vr10 the difference is kinda significant but a vr1 in vr1 gear is perfectly fine in pvp and can kill any vr10 there is if he´s good and gets a good jump on him.

whats game breaking atm is the vamp skillline.
