I tried pvp, so I get into Cyrodil, spend 10 minutes getting to the nearest action get killed pretty much immediately and then can only respawn back about 10 minutes journey time again....
Am I missing something or not doing something right?

Sestar✭✭Use the /zone chat to join a raid/group.
Join a guild that is active in the same Campaign as you are.
Players can ressurect each other.0 -
Also, you can teleport to owned keeps that are not being sieged. Until you get a mount, it's probably best to stick with the larger groups.0
