Divad Hunding buried in two places?

so, it seems I fought the skeleton of divad hunding when retrieving the ring of stendarr (twice actually since he respawned, thanks zos), then later I talk to his spirit in the halls of heroes. which implies he's buried there.
am I missing something or did zenimax throw a lore-hero around willy-nilly?
