Potential new World Skill line(s)?

Just curious if there were plans for this sort of thing.

E.G a lengthy and horrible quest after hitting x level in your World Skill line and being Vet rank y turns your Werewolf tree into an Alpha Werewolf tree (or something) granting access to more skills but the disadvantages become more intense as a result.

The notion of becoming an Elder Vampire with a horrible fire weakness, no life regeneration, taking double damage from Fight Guild spells and receiving only half the heals from healing spells would be almost unbearable.. but gaining power in the process would be an interesting trade off.

Yes yes I know the current lines need to be looked at and there are guilds still missing from the game.. But think of the future possibilities!

I personally would LOVE to see a necromancy based World Skill line with a potential Lich branch.

A power hungry Sorcerer can dream.

    Making werewolves and vampires weaker is a terrible idea. But having new World skill lines is not a bad idea. 'cause having a possible lich skill line would be amazing and the first time you would ever be a lich in elder scrolls.

    werelion. Make them different from wolves by granting an element of sneak/prowl /speed to their gameplay. Maybe average damage for excellent mobility. After wolves are fixed of course. Wolves have to get better damage and longer duration, smaller ultimate requirements.

    By the lore way back in Daggerfall, there are a large variety of 'were'beasts in Tamriel. Many of them are supposed to be regional. Werewolves have been a big feature in ESO, but it would be nice to see the others as options. Werelions are supposed to be in the Elswyr region, Werebears in Skyrim, Werealligators in Black Marsh, and Wereboars are in Highrock I believe. There are others but I don't remember them all. They actually let you become Wereboars in addition to Werewolves back in Daggerfall. I'd like to see that kind of variety added.

    I'd like to have some world skills added as well, that is very interesting mechanic. I would like to see some that would be a choice similar to werewolf or vampire, and some that would actually be able to work independently.
    Here is my short list with some explanation:

    Dragonborn - Not like a dragon knight, New abilities related only to dragon born.
    Giant born - same idea as with dragon born, but you can be either one or the other.
    Lichborn - Necromantic skill line.
    Crusader - Even hollier version of templar, only bound to light, a counter skill line to lichborn, and you can choice between two of them
    Werebeasts - the ones mentioned above 2-3 choices, where i can only have one at a time
    Zombie - basically a zombie/mutan skill line, where you not full zombie but like mix of it.
    Demi god of Arkay - what the name says, you're getting gods power when mixing blood and doing the ritual to become demigod.

    Vampires weak? Are you insane? They're a little bit beyond broken currently :P. The trade off would be immense vampire power or something to balance out the negatives.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about this sort of thing. There are several were-type creatures and there are also different types of vampires.. that in itself opens up loads of possibilities.

    Your 'demigod of arkay' skill line and dragonborn skill line negate each other, they're the same thing. Werebeasts should only be a cosmetic change to existing werewolves, Lichborn/Crusader is a good idea, Crusader could 1. be replaced with fighters guild, or the Dawnguard. Zombie idea is stupid, we've never seen intelligent zombies, and we already have the undead niche filled by vampires. Also, the Dragonborn is already basically a demigod, and it's something you're born into not learned, if anything, it'd be a greybeard skill line that's earned after a long and extensive quest line, it's supposed to take years and years and years to be able to master the voice. No comment on 'giant born'.

    What about a bard's college skill line, or maybe that'd be considered a guild?

    There's a very high likelihood of new skill lines come Craglorn. No idea what these would be, although my bet is celestial-themed skill line(s).

    there are several strains of vampirism i would like to see. the clans from morrowind , their strains are tailored to each of the major class types. (though i think they should leave out the volkihar strain, or at least the lord strain for balance purposes)

    and like any evil sorcerer, i want a necromancer skill line, whether its a class itself or a world skill isnt important, i just wanna facking summon some undead.

    perhaps blood magic, something that needs some cannonization in TES, but i would like there to be a health based skill tree, rather than magicka or stamina.

    i think some extra weapon types would be appreciated, maybe a un-armed skill tree, or a spell foci. you see i am of a mind that if a mage NEEDS a staff to function, he is weak or stupid. true mages use only the magicka at their disposal, but thats my opinion, tempered by past games.

    i think and alteration skill line, telekinesis and ebony flesh. maybe something to make you run faster, a ward skill that takes 10% of your magicka to stay up.


    honestly, this game is in its childhood, i could go on and on about what needs to be added, but it will just take some time, and hopefully ZOS will communicate with teh player base (ignore the nerfers though)

    I'd also like to see different types of vampirism, like the ones mentioned in books and whatnot. However the clan strains would be awesome! Perhaps once you hit rank 10 vampirism the option opens up to specify with each clan giving a different bonus / debuff and whatnot.

    I want to summon undead as well and necromancy would be an awesome segue for becoming an lich!

    A beserker class would make more sense over a mage class which utilises HP, but that's just my opinion. Blood magic can be a good option though.

    Extra weapon types would be lovely.. throwing knives, spears and the whole shebang! Hmm, you don't have to use a weapon if you don't want to, the staff just opens up more possibilities.

    They could make a whole 'mage' class which focuses on that sort of aspect. There is very little frost damage currently, I'd love to see a frost mage class.. which could probably go with the necromancer though.

    I agree, so much growth to have! I'm keen for the guilds being released soon, thieves should be most interesting.
