Why is it frustrating? Is it because the game sucks and ZOS needs to be liquidated?

Because level 15 main mission is actually supposed to be for level over 20 character, that is why.
I went as level 18 and got annihilated by a second guy in few seconds.
That is not normal, sorry, all heavy armor green, can't afford any higher, two hand weapon and shock skills, all points are in combat, with all shards collected from both zones.
You people like it, good for you you can have it, play it till your harts pop, I am not up for it.
There is not one good way to team-up, people can see your email, I don't care what you say, I want to be private.
Not one good way to sell your stuff, I think GW2 has a best global market, and team-up system so far.
Because of gold farmers ESO nerfed crafting skills so crafters suffer.
As always with MMO same static world.
I won't pay for something that is not fun, period.
I realized all MMO are like that, so, MMOs are not for me, time to move on and remember not to buy any MMO, in my life.
ESO actually pushed me to finally quit MMOs, too many people who will always ruin your fun, by nerfing everything around them, ohhh he's overpowered, nerf skills, nerf armor, nerf crafting, nerf heals and so on.....
Well, single player games are still the best option, Skyrim, and The Witcher 3 soon follow, I am not in to horror, so such games are not on my list.
    Good luck with ESO though.

The truth it, the game really is frustrating at times.
    The endless loading screens.
The need to relog for different items and quest NPCs to appear, for mail to work and so on.

I'll give you an example. I was in a dungeon with my man (call him G) and another person (let's call him R). We were at the end of the dungeons quest. R went off to fight some boss we had skipped. R yelled for help. I ran to him. G first talked to the quest giver and then came to help. The quest giver opened a portal we were supposed to pass through but when we tried to get back to it, we were killed. We tried a few times and then I relogged, like I usually do when somehting doesn't work.
My quest was lost. Two hours spent there and I had no quest to complete. G noticed the quest giver was at the start of the dungeon though so he finished it and got the skillpoint for it. I got pissed off, because if G had gone to help R when I did, he wouldn't have started the quest and we could have both finished it. We both raged at eahchother. But the truth is, if it weren't for the bug, we wouldn't have gotten there. Just everything seems to get us so irritated, since a lot of things don't work.

So all in all, I can understand frustration, no matter your reason. You shouldn't play a game if it makes you angry or irritated or frustrated.

I hope you'll have fun. I have high hopes for Witcher 3 as well.

While I doubt that it was the case here, I can actually see one reason for putting in a "Quit Forever" post. If you feel the game could have been done well and you want to give feedback to the developers, you could indicate that you, as a paying customer, have been lost and then detail the reasons why. I am certain there is someone looking over the threads, if for no other reason then to check for abuse and rules violations, and if they see a certain aspect of the game is causing many people to give up they may bring it to the attention of the developers' staff.

Now, simply saying "I quit" and giving no useful reasons why does not contribute in this manner, so I'm not sure about the original post of the thread.

No, no one expects that. However, me thinks the PvE Group system is the worst of any MMO ever published. It is clearly sub-standard.

All group members ought to be in the same instance of the game regardless of their quest status, even if they do not get a quest reward because they already finished the quest. At least they can see each other and help each other.

If one group member clears a quest than all others ought to clear it also whilst being in the same game instance. It is plain nonsense to have each group member doing the same puzzle individually. They are a group and when one has done it they all have done it together.

As for the boss difficult grade...well, some players cope well with that and some do not. Give players a choice to do the so called solo-bosses with a friend or two. Want to do it alone...fine...want to do it in a group...also fine. Even eleven year old WoW allows for that. Nothing needs to be scaled down...just a choice that is all that is required.

We need to keep shouting about this, and about other issues until they are being fixed. As paying customers we have the right to utter our opinion in these matter...even if no one listens.

Very good point about the group system Chirru, I agree that it should be automatic that all members of a group should be in the same instance of the game, what ever level and whatever the quest, this is one of my biggest gripes that I have about the game, trying to get over it but my brother is struggling to cope with it as he levels far slower than I do so it's impossible to play together :(

I had no issues with my character and the main quest so far. I always go do the main quest when i am about 2 levels higher, since i know it will be nothing but undead and daedric mobs and bosses coming at me with no fear (reminds me of the reapers in mass effect 3).

If you get stuck, change tactics, that always works.

I have 2 active friends on ESO in TS3, and i am having a ton of fun in this game. No skipping dialogues with NPC, listening and talking to everyone....i never rushed.

Anyways, it is unfortunate that you did not enjoy ESO as i do. I am not an elder scrolls hardcore player, i got introduced in Skyrim and clocked 1,800+ hours and had a blast.

I hope you change your mind, give the game a "second chance" and come back in with a different play style and really enjoy the game.
mDKs still need a lot of love!

I couldn't find anywhere on the Forums for constructive feedback for the developers, So I'll post it here, hoping they are reading the forum posts.

I canceled my subscription after 4 Days and doubt I'll be renewing it any time soon and my reason are varied. It has potential but its just not worth the $15 dollars a month in its current state. I have hope it improves but time will tell. And, no, the bugs don't both that much except for the grouping ones.

My main and first reason is the friend grouping and quest completion with friends. It is so hard to keep track of where friends are up to, what they are doing, and at any given time your friends get instanced out and you can no longer see them. This is the biggest killer for ESO. It an MMO, its meant to be social but all we have now is broken grouping, friends in groups getting phased out and general chat just full of gold spammers. Outside of my guild I have absolutely no social interaction with anybody. I can go play Oblivion and Skyrim and get a better experience than is ESO. ESO just fills like a single player game where you can chat with your friends through a box in game with out the same polish the Single player games offer. Of course, PvP defiantly is a great social activity but this alone cannot carry the entire game, and you can easily get this kind of massive PvP content for free in many other Free to play MMO's, not stuck paying a $15 dollar subscription.

My other with the game is the over priced horse's, which to get a decent one is 42, 000 gold and loot drops from mini bosses being a meager 2 gold. This is clearly a cash grab and while in the grand scheme of things, not the biggest issue. However, with the current tread found in video game's of micro-transactions and DLC content that should have been released with the main game becoming more and more common, as a gamer, I simply refuse to sit here and hand fist fulls of money over to greedy developers. Now, I want to be clear, I am not trying to say that Zenimax is 100% a greedy, money hungry cooperation. Lets face it, they need money to turn on the lights and keep the servers running, but seriously, 42, 000 gold in game to buy a decent horse when your lucky to get 2 Gold from a mini boos or fork over another $15 dollars on top of the $15 subscription PLUS $60 dollars for the standard edition? Yeah, No. I'm going to take my subscription money and give it to another game developer. I am more than happy to pay for games like this, and ESO is very nearly worth the subscription cost, but I want something for that subscription. While this is only one item within the game currently, whats next? Release another overpriced in game item that is ridiculous hard to get gold for while sitting back saying, well, if you pay some more money on top of that subscription, you can have it now. Again, No. Either increase the loot you can get from mini bosses, which would be my personal recommendation, or lower the prices of these special items to a more reasonable price.

These are my main two issue currently with ESO and have lead to me canceling my subscription. There are more but most are related to bug issue which will be correct by Zenimax in time. I know the game is in early days. Heck, its less than a month old and to be honest, in better state then some other MMO's I have played at launch. I will follow the updates of this game and see where it goes. One day I hope it reaches a state that can warrant me to pay the monthly subscription. I recently renewed my subscription to another popular MMO that I played from launch, which was subscription based, that had major issues and a very poor customer service team. this lead me to canceling my subscription. After nearly a year of not playing it with an active subscription, just F2P,I have recently renewed my subscription and am having a ball with it and will probably play it for a long time to come. So Zenimax, take to heart what this other developer finally got right. They listened to their fans, they admitted that they needed to make changes, they made changes and they have taken leaps and bounds ahead. While they haven't fully recovered, they are well on there way with a strong healthy MMO. You did a lot of things right, but the things that matter, you didn't do well.

The funny thing is, I have around 700 armor and spell penetration defense, 210% critical defense, 26+ heal, 44 attack, with 80 armor penetration on my passive ability, my character is level 18+ against mid boss level 15, he's not even a full boss, and I got wiped, with that armor alone I should be just standing still and spam shock shield without loosing any health, in Tera I can solo BAMs with even level both, it takes time though.

Between beta and now, I do not know how I managed to get over 400 hours of fun from this obvious wreck of a game.

Except for the bank slot problem and main quest blocking VR levels, which I think they solved both, there are no game breakers.

Now they need to tackle the bots.

I am old, slow, and clumsy. The fact that I can solo the quests on every class, means they are just not that hard.

Regardless if the game survives or fails, I will be so glad then the first 30 days are up and instead of forum rage there might be some actual discussion on crafting/class/skills, etc.

Because most the "I quit" people should be quit by then since they are not subbing.

Firstly, Angy Joes BS video is promoting F2P gaming (we all know he is like that).

MMOs , you pay money to play, look at WoW , it still has Subscription base payment, and it has outdated mechanics and repeatative stuff all over it.

In his video, AJ is playing lvl 9, 12, 14, 18 level toons. That is BS, the game open ups later a lot, and the beginning 1-15 is TRUE BORING, BUT, the game opens up a lot and is more and more addictive the more you play it.

Atm i have lvl 40 Templar in AD side and its FUN.

I play PvE Tank and have done Zero PvP (i did pvp in beta). I actually enjoy the dungeons a lot, especially the lvl 30-40 ones thus far.

The game is NOT hard at early game1-25, i did lvl 35 guild quests at level 25. (not a joke). (it was hard yes, but i did it(did not glitch at all)).

But now at level 40, its becoming very hard. And its very enjoyfull. I HATE EASY MODE ENDGAME. ffs.

<3 atm ESO looks to be good good good. Have to say more after i have played veteran dungeons as tank/healer.

    You are doing something wrong.

You need spells or abilities that have knockback etc interrupt CC, and you can solo almost anything. (some bosses are immune)

AND some elite encounters are not possible to do with solo player as the SKULL encounters or torch dungeon + signs are GROUP content.

Don't let these things break the game is my tip. Yes it is scaled differently. As you get more level you get better regens and pools. Yeah I play duo most of the time, so it is less of a battle to survive. But the solo dungeons such as main story line may just need to be done when I'm 5 or 6 levels above the indicated quest. They may change the scaling later when the game is not so fresh.

Take a break by all means and play what you enjoy most, if you come back and enjoy it later then all the better.
