Push back Craglorn!

I know this is a weird suggestion, but i feel with Craglorn possibly a month away they need to hold back this content.
Im sorry VR10 people but you are few and far between, and the possible damage I can see from this is pretty substantial.

The game is in a bad state at the moment, there is a laundry list of fixes needed and some which are critical to the long term health of this game. Some of the most major issues: Quest blockers, Duping, Botting, Gold sellers, client crashes, rollbacks and more.
At the moment there is nothing at stake, you reach VR10 and thats it. But with Craglorn the stakes get higher, leader-boards and loot are going to become the focus of this game (PVE).
With this many issues and the possibility of more (which always happens with a large content patch), Craglorn could bring about a new wave of issues that could push people away and end up having people simply bug their way to the top or cheat the system.

I feel Zeni can come back from this (and im a guy stuck at VR1 for over a week), because gold has little value and VR10 doesnt mean much. But with raids brings repairs, new loot and value to the endgame. I just feel Zenimax would be in the wrong to push this content out, until the game is in a respectable and stable state.
Do these fixes now, while the damage can be controlled. Dont force out content to meet deadlines, 90% of your playerbase wont care as long as the game is fixed.

I don't think Craglorn is coming out any time soon. That being said, the sad thing is that the free 30 days are expiring soon and people are going to want a "raid" to look forward to to give them a reason to subscribe to the game. It really becomes an economic issue more than anything else. I would expect a mid May launch for craglorn.
I agree though, there are many bugs and quality of life improvements that need to happen first before craglorn releases.

If the "raiders" are looking for a raid to hold them over or whatever. Claglorn might hold their attention for 2 months 3 most. Then they will be moving on unless Zeni is bringing more adventure zones every 3 months. But I don't see that happening, they have a LOT of issues that really need to be dealt with 1st before advancing the game further.

First, let me say that I understand your sentiment and agree with it. The game really should work better and I hope that fixing bugs is Zenimax's top priority.

Content teams don't fix bugs. That's QA and coders mostly. Even the world designers aren't changing things usually because the issue is that it worked fine in their development tool, but then didn't work in live for whatever reason - most likely that a ton of players are around.

My point is that fixing bugs isn't what the content team does primarily. Stopping the development of new content would mostly mean a bunch of artists and designers twiddling their thumbs - not more hands working toward bug fixes.

Push back bug fixes oh wait let me see they are two different teams your telling me ok that means they wouldn't go any faster fixing them ok

Guys u need to get to vr1 I haven't experienced a bug from vr1-vr10 n don't worry level 1-50 is just a joke it's all about main missions and vet content XD

I'm fairly confident they have multiple teams working on different aspects of the game.

One team working on bugs, another on UI and Systems, another of content development, and so on.

Content development is always occurring, and when Craglorn gets released, bugs and all, that team will work on the next set of content.

It is the way of MMORPGs.

Economic issue? The monthly fee of a lousy 10 euro? Which is ALOT better than a f2p or b2p, no matter what.

To stop new content from being introduced as the OP asks is rare, but I agree that bots is a more important issue. But I think there are different teams working on different stuff, I dont believe they will move staff around the teams for this. I just really hope they listen on the community and do whatever it takes to remove the bots.

No I totally understand, they have different teams. Its how it works. Whats im saying is, ESO should hold back (not stop devolving) a such a major patch, until we make sure the majority of these issues are fixed.
The reason for this, I believe this will only allow for exploits, hacks to be worth while and could ruin the endgame. So picture this, a team gets through a raid and reachs the top of the boards, do we applaud their effort or are they using duped legondaries to cheat the system? Or will we see new glitches that allows bosses to be 1 shot or made trivial....those things could happen, and for endgame thats when gold will matter for repairs...thats a gold sellers dream.

    Does it really matter? seriously?

Using Hirelings already bring more than enough Legendary tempers in the economy don't worry about it or who reaches the top of the board enjoy the game.

Money is also very easy to make.
