I dunno about points but I did get a mail reward after rezzing someone once
It would be nice if there was more of an incentive to rez randoms. More players seem to be interested in rushing on to farm AP than helping their faction rally
Would be nice if the PvP mail included soul gems as well.
1. Grant AP, experience, Assault, and Support points for reviving players. Could be the same 26~ point reward that using repair kits grants.
2. Add a daily "Revive Friendly Players" quest.
3. Reduce revive window on dead players to 1-2 minutes from 10 minutes while in Cyrodiil. Stops AFKs from burning Soul Gems that they don't accept and stops players from leeching AP while they're dead.
4. Chance to receive filled Soul Gems in PvP reward mail.
AvA zergs kinda remind me of kids playing soccer. Everyone chases the ball, no one plays their position or fulfills objectives. It's just one giant herd chasing after one another.
Unless you're in a coordinated group, at this stage players would rather tag enemy players for the 10-50 AP per kill than revive their dead and keep the assault moving. Which makes sense for them as individuals, because reviving the dead offers no tangible reward and they lose out in terms of AP and losing Soul Gems. Cooperative, team-based play should be incentivized and this would be a good start.
While I agree with all of this, I'll say what I've already said a number of times before. Soul gems are needed to revive players in PvP, but you can only get them from PvE activities. The only alternative is to buy them, and you don't exactly make a lot of gold in PvP. So, I suggest that "rewards for the worthy" be changed to include an at level soul gem.
"Rewards for the Worthy" Soul Gem rewards should be a PvP-only with 0 resale value as well. I don't think there are level restrictions on Soul Gems in Cyrodiil(?) but this would be a good fix regardless to discourage vendoring Soul Gems for profit.
