it seems just like every other thing on this pile of crap game, even freedom of speech and the right to protest or petition, is not allowed. The smoke and mirror BS spawned by Zenimax and the video blog week after week, falsely claimed that ESO, was ready for release, and bar a few minor problems, a working product.

Nothing could be further from the truth, not only is ESO not ready it has more bugs than an entomologist back garden, and we have basically been taken for fools. They cant even keep the game secure from spamming or hacks, botts and account duplication.

The final straw for me was the termination of my appeal for every player to demand a months free play time, due to the fact that what we are getting now is far from what they promised or what they legally have to supply.

Finally since my petition as they called it is not allowed I will be contacting trading standards, maybe a reminder that taking money under false pretences (they said the game was ready when they knew it was not) is against the law, and comes close to fraud and deception

Freedom of speech only applies to the government trying to control your speech. You have every right to open your own forums and say whatever you wish. Here Zenimax makes the rules.

-freedom of speech - zenimax owns this forum I presume, they can tell you that using the word hello is against the ToS and if you agree and use it, you can get banned for saying hello. You can't get banned if they say hello is against the ToS, without mention to hi, and you say hi, unless there is a clause that states that all salutations referencing first greetings despite their culture of origin are not allowed on these forums -- and all players are required to say goodbye, while use of the salutation bye is not allowed, before they end their post or their post is not considered a valid request for support. Clowns agree to wear funny noses and big shoes buddy. You can paint your frown on trying to argue that culturally based bans of greetings is discrimination and against the law, but they are referencing greetings and salutations. Contracts are funny.

- we do deserve a free month. EVERY player I have come in contact with just about, has numerous complaints. Some of us are lenient, putting up with it, attributing it to the difficulty of coding, blaming our network providers, hopeful that fixes will come quickly, whatever. I wouldn't mind a free month though, I paid my 60 bucks for a working product --which no matter what they ask you to agree to they are LEGALLY BOUND to provide. If anyone comments to the contrary I would like to inform you that you are a consenting idiot.

I'm pretty sure the Zenimax team is working as hard as they can to make things right. Do I wish they were a bit clearer in the communication of their plans? Yes. But then again, that would probably take away a significant amount of time that could be spent resolving the probable backlog of support tickets.

All games have lots of bugs at release. This is a good game. Most people aren 't running into game breaking bugs - and those people have no issues paying.

It looks like this isn't the game for you. Good. Haters gonna hate. So, take care, have a good one and hopefully we won't see you around.
