Clipping issues with armour.

I thought, that I'll put it to crafting discussion, because it's about armour.
Zenimax gave us huge possibilities for customizing our character, including the amount of muscles and fat inside his or her body. However, they have skipped something very important:
Shoulderpads aren't scaled to character body size. My lizard is very skinny. Even the least bulky shoulderpads either float above him or make him look extremely stupid, especially combined with the fact, that armour is just a texture. Now I'm pretty much limited to breton and altmer light epaluets [fortunately I really like the look of breton].
Pretty much the only solution would be scaling to the size toon's body, like in Skyrim. Option to hide shoulders wouldn't be good, because most pf medium armour is just a texture. Without helmet and pauldrons character is pretty much naked, but painted.
