No Exp for monsters in cryodil?

i am VR 1 and getting kinda tired of the same old same old run run run and die to a zerg run run run back to die again.
I decide to go out and PvE in cryodiil and lo and behold my exp never changed after killing about 5 or 6 mobs .....................not 1 exp
What is the point of all the PvE in Cryodiil if you get absolutely no reward??????
Are they really trying to make it so you cant enjoy anything but dying in the zerg ?very little exp or gold from the crappy one time a day kill 20 players quest and no exp from monsters ?????? WTF the more I play this the more I realize why I haven't played MMO's for a long time, because the game mechanics for having fun suck

You don't have to zerg.

You can still get achievements and quest rewards for PvE. You were probably getting XP, just not much, which is pretty much how it is for killing mobs even in PvE areas. One might also just enjoy PvE for the sake of PvE (maybe RPers, too?).

yeah I know I can get quest exp and achievement but its just wrong that there are lvl 50 mobs that come after you and can kill you if your not paying attention and you get nothing for them ? NOTHING ???? WTF is the point of them then? to *** me off? cause its working !!!!!!

After 50 its not EXP that levels you but Veteran points.
The only monsters that reward these are Veteran ones.
You can get Veteran points from any quest.

The only VXP(veteran exp) you get while being a veteran, is from dungeons and quests.

Dungeons, like pub dungeons and vet dungeons etc..
Very small amounts, but still some.
ALOT less than it used to be, since people abused a bug during the early access that granted massive amounts of experience.
ZOS nerfed all dungeon type exp.

Veterans are basically restricted in all aspects for exp, except for PVE, you can run that storymode quest chain until your eyes bleed and will always get exp.

Go pve to lvl vet.. lol This game gets funnier and funnier. how could this be serious. Cyrodiil must be very very very low on the priority list for *** to do in this game since there really is no benefit compared to pve. eso=pve like pretty much any other mmo.
