Just an idea but what are the downsides of adding an option that players can choose in the Campaign selection menu that ignores Home and Guest campaign settings and auto balances to a specific, albeit random, campaign? Getting into a fight is really the goal here no matter where it might be, but as is the design makes it easy to avoid competition or ensures fights will be extremely weighted in favor of one side, be it yours or some one else's.
I guess anything that will get more closely matched fights going and less "well I guess we own everything now since almost no one is here to stop us" is what I'm looking for.
