Veteran Level provisioning Mats

I am almost Veteran lvl 4 and made 50 provisioning a long time ago, i am having a hard time finding recipe's and the mats for the ones i have found in the areas i am exploring, any boxes or barrels i do find unopened contain the level appropriate mats for the zone's original adventurers
Veteran lvl 1 glenumbra was thin broth's and the like, these were the items i used to create level 1 and 5 foods. that is when you can find an unopened barrel, because everyone and his monkey's uncle is auto looting these on the off chance they find a motif. No idea what they do with the food stuff they find, it's never on my guild store so I can only assume it gets destroyed when the bags are full.
as for recipe's I found a V5 level recipe when i was lvl 19 in a barrel in deshaan, and another somewhere in my early 40's in the Rift, in the veteran area's i have found 1 veteran 1 food recipe (same one multiple times) and it requires imperial flour i think it is, which i have not found at all.
Am i just really unlucky or are these mats unavailible ?
In beta the boxes i opened gave me level specific loot regardless of where i was, and somewhere when the game went live they changed that to be zone specific, this seems to have carried over to veteran zones as a result.
Also I think that the removal of motif books from barrels and adding them to the loot table would go a long way towards a fix too, just don't add it to public dungeon mini boss loot, since the gold farmers are making those not even worth the time to visit.

There are vedonrs that sell stuff like Imperial Flour (and, i think, honey) and the like, but they cost 63 gold a pop (but don't sell all the stuff you might need).

Seems expensive?
I Agree, so i have not bothered with really making any food buffs since i left Cold Harbor (thought part of this is because i am overcharged in my most relevant stats (Magicka & Magicka regen) already).

The balance of searching barrels and urns for great recipes and ingredients or saving bag space is tipped toward saving bag space and time in Veteran Level questing after getting continual low level mats such as thin broth (you can get a half stack of those by level 2). Would be cool to make the exploring crates, barrels, trunks, dressers, chests, urns a bit more lucrative and fun...and level appropriate for Veterans.
