DC campaign for the non PvPer

I haven't gone into Cyrodill because, quite frankly, RPG PvP is tiresome and from what a I hear in this game, just a big zerg fest and it doesn't interest me at all.

However, I also hear there are skyshards and quests all throughout Cyrodiil, and that does interest me. Does anyone have any suggestions for a campaign that is ruled by DC where my chances of running into other players who are intent on slowing my progress will be reduced to a minimum?

I can tolerate an encounter here and there, but am not interested in spending hours and days trying to complete quests and secure skyshards because I have to wade through an army of players.

Choose an empty campaign theirs a few about, Also it isn't one big zerg fest their are zergs but its easy to avoid them. Cyrodiil is massive, people who tend to go on about zergs etc tend to be melodramatic, But if you hate zergs why not destroy them?. Honestly a group of 8 - 10 well played guys can defeat three times their number. give it a try it rules.

you dont want to PVP but want the rewards from the PVP area?

It's pretty easy to avoid other players in Cyrodiil due to its size. You should easily be able to collect the skyshards in friendly territory as well as any quests that fall in those areas.

As you stray in to enemy areas you'll start seeing people occasionally; but it's still mostly mobs. If you don't want mass PvP, just stay away from the keeps.

    What you need:

    1.
    http://teso.mmorpg-life.com/eso-cyrodiil-daggerfall-skyshards-location-map/

    2.
The awareness that there could be an enemy player around the next corner!
Many skyshards are in dungeons => dangerzone.
I had problems with these on lvl 18 but on VR2 it was really easy.

    Sneak a lot!
Depending on who your char is it even makes sence to do this.
Be aware of AD and EP scum! They are everywhere...

    3.
You will find many quest... do them for increased fun but you can use them as gap fillers it too you missed some quests and are to low to advance into the next PvE area.

    4.
Every faction has 2 Skyshards that are unreachable for the enemies without invading their "homeland".
If you just step in for a short time you will likely miss 4 shards.

Hehe the PvP in this game is not more a zerg fest then Battlefield 3 or 4 or any other PvP game that features more then 16 vs 16 players. Also 9/10 when some one cry zerg is because he suck at reading the battle flow. Damn carebears.

Here is a tip also. When doing skyshards in Cyrodiil take a friernd or two with you.

Its only a 'Zerg Fest' if you go in with that mind set... and don't worry about being run over by zergs... your main concern is gank squads that like to hang out between keeps and snag zerg tails, or people to stray too far from their war parties... other than that its mostly 1v1-4v4 fights... honestly its a lot of fun.

Oh and as mention above, sneak!!

And watch your surroundings before you get a shard... heck maybe if you see an enemy let them get the shard first and then kill them :)

There are so many skillpoints in the game that unless you plan on maxing EVERYTHING you would never even need to set foot in shitrodiil to complete a fully functional build.

Exactly. They really should make a few PvE campaigns.

Or just be very aware of your surroundings. I've wandered deep into EP and AD territory, dungeons and all, to grab them solo. Avoiding roads and the obvious pinch points also helps.

Actually given that the campaign I randomly picked to join is incredibly dead and quiet because the DC owns the map. I've run around exploring. Do be aware when doing quests in other alliances portions of the map you may get ambushed. I had one mini quest hub I abandoned because of a persistent higher Vet EP player who kept successfully sneaking up on me and killing, like that was difficult.

There are amazing rewards to exploring the map in Cyrodiil from any alliances side. I found a fascinating tunnel complex under a mountain in one area that lets you cross inhospitable parts of the map fast.

Also be aware that like in any zone a number of the skyshards will be in public dungeons and if you are soloing them they will be tough below level 50. As the auto boost for the zone gives you stats equivalent to being level 50 in green level 48 gear. So alone with your lower level skills and skill options it will be tougher in public dungeons solo. Take friends if you can get some to go with you.

Oh and each alliance area has a mundus stone in it. And watch out for the champion troll on top of the mountain that you have to hunt for the route to climb.
