Tomatoes!

Is there a specific area in which to obtain tomatoes? So far I think I’ve only gotten them from Provisioning hirelings. Anyone know where if anywhere it’s possible to look for this ingredient?

There have been a few other threads on this matter already, and the consensus is that they are no-where to be found... Oats is another item conspicuously missing from crates and barrels everywhere...

Thanks for the response. I suppose since they are used exclusively for consummate recipes they made them a lot harder to obtain.

Produce baskets have them. I've looted and destroyed a bunch. They do exist though.

Wonder if the 'season' flag (1 week = an in game season) effects produce baskets? Maybe they are only in game during the game summer season?

I can say i've seen one everyday since I started playing. Give or take a day. Some days more than others. Hope this helps.

There was a bug list where some recipes dropped in one alliance but the parts required for them dropped in another. Maybe its the same with tomatoes. Lets see if people can post what alliance they are in when they FOUND tomatoes.
