Dying Armors

Why not give us an opportunity to dye our armors in any color we want? Everyone is just about wearing almost the same thing, so why not give us an opportunity to dye them to create some more uniqueness?

I'm lvl 40 and never seen any1 look the same as me. i craft my own gear every 5 levels or so, changing styles everytime. i curently have a green and gold chest plate wich i've never seen on any1 else before. looks amazing. it was silver when i made it. it became green when i improved it once and green with gold when i improved it to blue.

While i like the gearprogression
(altmer heavy armor with breton light hood and bosmer heavy shoulders looks amazing at vr1)
I do dislike that everything is gold at this point. I was promised DK gear would be black.. Its not.. I look like a holy night, rather than the bringer of flames and destruction.

I'm all for dying armor and weapons! I'm a level 34 Nord and my armor is green! I detest that color.

Dyeing armour & clothes would be a nice start, then they could add recipes/schemetics for different styles (variations of look but does the same job), which would allow us to personalise our looks.

Not sure what the OP is wearing, but it is really really easy to look unique in this game. There are tons of options. Armor looks different by class and sex and level and quality and race (and maybe enchantment).

For metal armor alone: 2 Sexes x 4 classes x 8 motifs x 4 quality levels = 256 sets already available at level 1. That is assuming you do not mix and match...that number is for full complete sets. And this is ONLY for metal armor...if you include cloth and leather you can triple that number.

That number is also only for level 1...The armor further changes every few levels, and does not include the OTHER motifs (at least 4 that I know of) available at higher levels, or the custom sets at crafting stations.

I understand the desire for dyes, but cmon...that is a LOT of options already.

ZOS has said they are looking into more armor customization, for what its worth. It (dyes and/or more costumes) will very likely be part of a content patch in the not-so-distant future.

Your armor is varied in coloor level to level. no need for dyes.

Not right now, but when everybody gets to the max lvl and is wearing max lvl armor, what we have now won't be enough.
