So, opened the launcher as administrator (which I always do since it's just better that way) and it updates the game. But then it decides to give me the message of "Unable to determine current version. Please run the Game Consultant Tool and contact Customer Support."
Which I did. I ran the game consultant, and I have a report to give. I went into support and clicked on email under ask for support. There's no way to attach a file there, so I'm waiting for their reply. (I have attached the report to this post to be viewed.)
So, after running the game consultant, I went and clicked repair. At first, it wouldn't do that and I kept getting the same message. I ran the game consultant again, and this time hit "apply" instead of "cancel" when it was done, and then i had the play button. but now for some reason the game has certain spots tinted oddly (seen in the attached picture). I'd rather not play with an odd tint to the game.
Now, I saw something about deleting .version files and then run launcher and then put them back in, but I'd rather not mess with files and have to end up re-installing the whole thing. I do believe that this issue only because of the new patch. My game was totally fine yesterday.
