Posting this here as a public service. I'm not sure if people have figured this out already but I was trying to figure out why the game played fine in beta and not in retail. Well I found the culprit.
If you have an Nvidia card and can't figure out why the performance is sucking wind, try rolling your driver back to version 332.21. It sorted out all my issues, I am now able to run with max settings smoothly.
