What exactly is the Era or time this game takes place in?

Just wondered since as the game progress the Eras did too till now. Morrowind became past in Oblivion and the that too past to Skyrim. but in Skyrim i killed the hundreds of years dead necromancer worm king Mannimarco (sorry for not spelling his name correctly) and killed him. but now in the early Levels of the ESO Online game he seams to be alive and well as one of the later big boses. just trying to figure out when in Tamriel you have set us in.
