Blood Craze.

Blood Craze gives you health every two seconds for nine seconds right? But does the health recovery double if you apply Blood Craze to two enemies, triple to three enemies, etc?

I use Blood Craze but I am not a "numbers" person and in the chaos of combat I don't notice these things .... but... I would think that if I apply Blood Craze to Foe #1, then I get health back based on the damage that the DoT does to him... and if I hit Foe #2, it seems only logical that I would get health back based on the damage that THAT DoT does to Foe #2...

So it seeeeems like it would stack if you apply it to multiple foes.

Yes I get more green numbers when more people have Blood Craze on them. I will often walk up to a group apply blood craze to everyone then whirlwind them all to death.

It's very efficient for being one of the stronger dots in the game while having damage on application and also recovering health.

It's funny to me how many people think blood craze is really bad. Which in PvP/Trash PvE were you want burst damage, yes it might be. But against any kind of boss encounter that is going to take more than 9 seconds to die... twin slashes is really good. My dungeon running bar setup has blood craze on it, and you just keep it up without clipping just like any other mmo with dots.

Blood Craze is the only dual wield ability I use on my bar. Since it is my only stam spell on my melee bar I spam it on everything in range. With high crit and other passives it actually does decent damage and heals.

The Nighblade has other expensive but high burst class skills. I took dual wield primarily for the passives (to compliment some NB skills) but blood craze is nice.

I don't know if this has been answered already, but Blood Craze does not stack when applied to multiple enemies.

The way the ability behaves places a buff on yourself when the bleed effect is active. Each time you recast the ability, you refresh this self-buff. As long as the self-buff is present, you will receive a HoT.

You can not have multiple Blood Craze buffs on yourself, each time you use the ability, you just refresh the single self-buff, thus stacking the ability on multiple enemies will never give you multiple HoTs.

I'm not entirely sure what "Blood Craze" is but I'm going to assume it's a spell. If I am right in saying it is a spell does it specify anywhere in the spell description about it stacking ( if it says it stacks then yes you will get more health the more enemies it's on ) if it does not specify then you'r going to have to give it a Google or test it yourself. Or you could just wait for some one more knowledgeable on this topic then I am. That's all the help I could give I hope it helped. :D

At VR1 I am still not sure if Blood Craze or Siphon stack on multiple enemies. It seems to be inconsistant. I have seen my scrolling combat text addon indicate stacking, and other times I hit multiple mobs and only see one heal of normal amount.

If I get to play tonight I will pay more attention. My single target style is effective in quickly getting kills, but is rapid "bouncing around" spastic enough to not let me watch the damage/heal text scroll much.

You advise to go Google it but you can't Google Blood Craze yourself and take two seconds to find out it's a stamina based dual wield weapon ability, not a spell?

@yankee pleased do let us know what you find out when testing stacking. I'm running Rapid Strikes but thinking of switching to Blood Craze for the extra heals

Thanks for answering this. I have not been on my NB to test as I am taking my Sorcerer through VR3.

No problem. I tested this pretty recently on my DW Sorcerer. I also tested Degeneration, and the HoT from Degeneration behaves in the same way, which means no multiple HoTs from Degen.

You can, however, proc the 15% chance to heal from attacks on multiple enemies at once (tested by casting Degeneration on multiple mobs and spamming Whirlwind).

Strife also works in the same manner, meaning casting Strife on multiple mobs simply refreshes the current HoT.

Still, even if it doesnt stack, blood craze meshes very well with nightblade siphoning abilities. You can stack blood craze on top of strife and refreshing path, and even throw in leeching strikes if you really want, for some serious health return.
