There have been many problem's in mmo's and they have always bounced back. (except star wars) Im sure this will not be the downfall of the game. Have anyone else made up there mind and de subbed already? And is this hiccup viable means for a refund if all your bank slots and inventory is gone? Please respond.

While I love the MMO and the Elder Scrolls series in general, this "hiccup" seems to be just the tip of the iceberg of a whole menagerie of issues that should have been resolved before release, not after and at the expense of paying customers. I never thought I'd be one to say this but yes, I am seriously reconsidering my subscription at this point. The game doesn't seem safe in its current state.

thanx for your input, but what about a refund?
  • raojalaeb17_ESO
i'd say refund would be pretty much dependent on how much you have played, i wouldn't go for a refund if i had 100 hours under my belt, that pretty much covers what you paid for in any game, not to mention an mmo. Dunno about these bank stuffs tho you might wanna consider waiting it out and coming back to teso after a couple of weeks, especially if you preordered and got those nice any race to any alliance bonuses.

    No, I don't think I would demand a refund.

Yes, I'm de-subbing. I'm already Veteran Rank 4, and bored out of my skull. I'm not going to veteran grind to 10 to play Craghorn or Lorn or whatever the quest hub is called. The process of going from one Veteran rank to the next, is large-group mob/anchor/cave grinding for 15hrs straight. Trying to get 2-million VP (veteran points) doing quests on packs of 7 mobs with npc healers, is ludicrous. And before you say "create a new character to experience/explore new map zones", within Veteran Ranks, you explore the other maps. So I thought about going back to starter zones to find missing treasure maps, but no loot drops from any mobs greater than 5 levels below you. Really, the way I see it, VR-levelling was designed as a group effort, but some classes solo the content because their armor/build allows them to do so -- I cannot. I can do solo VR content to a certain extent, but then run into a end-of-objective boss that cannot be solo'd at all (Obsidian Gorge 1st objective of Deshaan, Cadwell's Almanac). Then there's the plethora of game bugs, far too many to list, let alone I had to get a Windows PC to even play the game, as my $3000 iMac crashes every 1-2 hrs along with every other ESO Mac user out there. I've been playing and paying for MMO's for over two decades non-stop, and this is a massive let-down. It's worse than the disaster SW:TOR. I got bored of that in 5 days, and ESO lasted a whopping 11 days. I haven't played ESO in 3 days. I had such high hopes for this title; racked up about 1800 achievement points, got Tyro title in pvp, but it's just a huge boring quest grind. Oh and I did the Werewolf skill tree to rank 10, but had to cure it due to all the poison-type attacks in Deshaan questing. And lost the dozen or so skill points when curing it - you'd think you'd get them back when curing (deleting the skill tree), but you don't. Looks like you need to spend the 15,000g for Skill point rededication shrine BEFORE you cure Lycan 'buff', else you perma-lose those dozen skill points.

This game is b2p material. It's not something that keeps you playing for months, it just doesn't have that much content.

At max level you either do pvp over and over and over and over OR you do the afterthought implemenentation of a shadow of a pve content that has got nothing on WoW or even Rift.

Personally I doubt I will be subbing once the free month is over, I'm already kinda bored with the game.

I will continue to pay a sub because I imagine the game without bugs and that is the game I want to play. It will only be a matter of time before the bugs get fixed.

I would go ahead and put in a ticket for your lost gear and bank items. Typically these things can be restored.
