Random FPS Drop

Hi ,

I just built a new PC and I am experiencing random Fps drops when sometimes talking to an NPC , toggling my map back and forth, or even just walking around a town. It seems to drop from 60+fps to 10-20 fps . The game is playable its just annoying when these random drops happen. **Update** It is only ESO doing it , all other games i have tested run fine. I have tried all video settings and i get random FPS drop on all of them.

I have :

Intel i7 4770k
12GB Memory
1tb harddrive
Nvida EVGA 770 super clocked
Windows 7 professional
Asus Maximus Formula VI motherboard

Experienced similar FPS drops here when I first started playing the game on my new machine, soon seemed to smooth itself out after a day or two of gameplay and runs flawlessly now. Hopefully this will be the case for you, best of luck.

I have the "stuttering" effect without v-sync, even at 60-70 fps. With v-sync enabled, the game is smooth and i have a steady 50 fps, but sometimes it drops down to 25. I mean a steady 25 fps! After 2-3 sec it's go up to 50 again. I've tried triple buffering, adaptive v-sync, gpusmoothingframes 0,1,2,3,5,10 etc, but nothing helps. ESO is running as administrator, and everything is set to high performance (GPU, CPU), anti-virus and firewall disabled, and using Gamebooster.

    My system:
    Intel i5 4570s @3,6 GhZ
    8 Gb DDR3 @‌ 1600 MhZ
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 650 2 Gb DDR5 OC with latest beta driver
    Windows 7 64 bit
I know it's not a high-end system, but come on... Everything is on high, shadows is on medium, and i get steady fps, but this drops need to be fixed.

I experience that FPS drops after using some Addons. I have many, around 15, so I don't know which one is causing such drops but I think one or more of them causing some performance issues. Because without any, everything was normal for me.

I've noticed major FPS lag from atmospheric effects. More than what should happen from a little rain.

Are you using the ESOHead addon? I've heard of many people report this exact issue and found it to be caused by this addon.
