Option to Deconstruct Equipped Items?

Why in the hell is that even an option to deconstruct something in your inventory. I'm curious as to why in the world I'd want to have the items I'm wearing mixed in with all the rando items I decon immediately and quickly.. I have to sift through all the items to make sure it's something I'm not wearing. As well, I have to remember the name (as well as stats) of the armor I outgrow in 2 levels since there's no comparison popup to compare between crafted armor and equipped.

Fairly annoying issue, however, overall experience is extremely pleasant!

I may be misunderstanding you, but for me I do not get the option to deconstruct anything I have equipped at the moment.

Me either...now items in the bank show up, which might be an issue for some, but if it's equipped, even to your alt wpn setup, those items do now show up in the decon menu.

That's strange, my friend said the same thing for him that his equipped items don't show up when I told him I made this thread.. I've done it several times now on items I 100% know I had equipped and remember deconstructing.

Then again my map is also bugged out, wayshrines aren't in the right location and neither is my location marker so who knows lol.

I don't think it's intended for your equipped items to show up in the decon list, but if they are, an easy way to check would be to see if they have depleted any of the enchantment charges or durability. If the bar isn't full, leave it alone.

But I suggest contacting the company for a more permanent solution.

Thanks for your reply Lupusrex,

It's actually fixed now. It was definitely some glitch/bug affecting it but I haven't had an item show up in the decon menu for a while now

I'd like to be able to lock some item from craft, like that this locked item won't be display in the deconstruction window or research window. It's a real pain when you can switch equipment to assume different role to deconstruct your unequipped healing staff by error...

I was actually thinking about that the other day. Having the ability to lock items so I don't accidentally decon, as many have similar icons.
