yeah my ingame settings like med to highGorecleave wrote: »That load is strange, although I'm not familiar with the 6000 series cards. 40-50 fps with that card, depending on the settings, I'm assuming high, is as much as I'd expect at best from it though, so I don't think the reported load is an accurate factor of performance in this situation. Running a R9 270X 2gb here, GPU-Z is reporting around 80% load on ultra settings.
yeah i've checked couple of times again now i can see %70 80 usage but why not %100 and my cpu usage %25 30 while playing i dont think i have problem with my setup but something wrong i guessEither games games not optimized, which it isn't, but I'm starting to think that it's not using multicore efficiently, or at all, I haven't checked. I might overclock my CPU and see a difference, but I need buy a new case to put in an aftermarket cooler. If the CPU isn't being used up properly then not enough data is being sent to the GPU fast enough to be rendered so therefore it's a bottleneck. Hopefully this can be fixed with an update.
Off topic, but I think you've shown me my next mouse, that Hex red looks awesome.Gorecleave wrote: »70-80% is what it should be running at, 100% would cause issues. 25-30% CPU load just proves there isn't a bottleneck. I think you're expecting too much from your gfx card. Maybe it's time for an upgrade..?
I use a GTX 770, and an i5 2500k OCed to 4 ghz. My load on both cpu and gpu are about 50% of the time. I get 30-40 fps in Daggerfall, and 50-60 in the wild. (On max settings). I feel like the game should be using hardware better.
Once you have a video card capable of rendering a graphical quality at an acceptable framerate (40+ fps). The remainder of your framerate will be determined by the power/quality of your CPU. Eso is heavily CPU bottlnecked once you have an acceptable video card especially in PvP.
If it's not utilising all cores, which I doubt it would, most games take advantage of 2 cores, it will only show 50% used
I don't know I never done any checks, just checked the task manager for first time with this game and yeah all cores are being utilised, but since then I have read a post that it could be a problem server side.If it's not utilising all cores, which I doubt it would, most games take advantage of 2 cores, it will only show 50% used
So why does the task manager performance monitor show about 50% use of all 4 cores? I'm no programmer but is it possible that there is a single thread for the game that is restricting the rest of the games threads?
One designed to ensure that all the threads work in proper timing?
