Quest blocked still GM fix now

Just hit vet 1 and i am unable to complete the main story line as its still bugged (which is just pathetic and should be fixed and not using us to test a beta zone but thats another post) I am unable to find anything to do. How do i get to the other factions zones to quest there as coldharbour is the biggest fail of a zone ever

    Unless you have completed the Main Quest dealing with the prophet and cohorts you can not go to other faction lands and do their quests. You can pvp if you like but that is about it.

    wow that sucks i cant even do the main quest from low levels. The quest with the massive chick is also bugged. I dont know but is this a full release or beat testing phase 5?

    another maintenance session and still the army or Meridia (enter the chapel of light) is still broken. Y cant a GM be in the chapel pushing each person through the quest manually. This is why we pay subs *** joke.

    I completed the quest last night, think I did have to do a relog during 'the final assault' part with gab but besides that it worked without issue.

    just got an email my issue has been raised to teir 2. nfi how this will resolve the issue but you never know.
    Now to rub salt in the wound i cant log in. I have never played an mmo with so many issues and such poor customer service

    well after talking to tech supp on the phone. They have raised the issue again and a game developer is meant to be calling me in 24-72 hours. 3 more *** days so could be blocked for up to 9 days. Pathetic

    you must be someone that has never played an mmo at release lol. your max level already and your complaining about quests not working? You do know must mmo that JUST come out don't even have ANY content for high level players. It kind is your own fault that you rushed through the game. Its not even a month into the game.

I never experienced bugged quests blocking progress like this before and with absolutely no help from tech supp just adds to frustration. How is it my fault for rushing through the game. I have time at the moment and the opportunity to complete it. It a failure of the developers not living up to their promises

    i have played numerous mmos since release e.g wow, guild wars 1 and 2. I never experienced bugged quests blocking progress like this before and with absolutely no help from tech supp just adds to frustration. How is it my fault for rushing through the game.     and how many of them had Instense ammount of Phasing at the begining ? none......

    most of these bugs are coming from Phasing thats why stuff dont spawn or dont appear or mobs get stuck bicous of the pashing......

    Its being fixed today. Also what about starting another character? Maybe doing some crafting? Rushing like you did you prob skipped most of the achievements too. There are things you can do besides obsess about the one quest you cannot do.

    I highly doubt you played WoW from release if you are claiming to never have run into blocked progress because of blocked quests. You don't remember the broken dungeons or end-game regions at all?

    The only negative experience in ESO is those that make it negative.

    Every time someone swears, it gets replaced with three asterisks. There's only one three-letter swear word that I know of. I read that in the place of every set of three asterisks. It makes for some amusing sentences.

    I have a guildy i craft with we swap what we make and de it. our crafting is already very high

    That's patently untrue, you have the rosiest coloured glasses on now. It would be funny if it wasn't sad. No MMO launched without issues in the first month. With WOW being a prototype of the modern MMO they were the first to fail and first to learn from their failures while fixing them.

There was also a massive beta phase where some of these issues were raised yet not fixed before launch. I just wonder if developers are bringing out games just a bit to early to keep shareholders happy in spite of it being completly finalized to their liking

    They most definantly were not "pioneers" and the problems they faced are not going to be the same. In case you have not noticed this is 2014 not 2004 and the methods of game coding and scripting has changed since then. And yes of course they do that. They have to, the "shareholders" as you put it, pay their salaries. Why people are so hung up on the reality of the world is beyond me.

    absolutely agree the coding has changed but there are still the same issues of lag disconnections etc. Which i know are extremely hard to prevent or foresee. Being more transparent about actual timelines in relation to solving these issues. Even going as far to say we are unsure how long it will take will give people something.

    also saying that wow had more to do in it when it released compared to this game i almost hitted myself with something lol........ take the glasses off......

    yes i have. I was on the phone with tech support today for 1.5 hours and still could not fix the issue. She told me that the next level tech support would assist me and push me through the quest so that my progress could continue. She told me he would call back very soon this was 4 hours ago. I think they have a different understanding of soon to me?

    Just another example of how pathetic the customer support is

    Below is the steps they advised me to take which didnt work. I am still waiting for that phone call back

    Greetings! Thank you for contacting Elder's Scrolls Online.
    It was a pleasure speaking with you, thank you for being so patient and understanding!

    Please follow the steps that we have provided below to help solve the issue:
    Navigate to your "My Documents" or "Documents" folder in the start menu.
    Delete the folder named "Elder Scrolls Online". This is a settings folder. It will repopulate when the game launches again.
    Navigate to the "C://" drive on your computer from "My Computer" or "Computer". - Open "Program Files (x86)" - Open "Zenimax Online" - Open "Launcher" - Delete the "Program Data" folder.
    Close out of all screens and return back to your desktop.
    (These next steps are known as "Clean-booting" your computer and will disable all programs and services that start with your computer that are not the basic Microsoft services. During these steps, please pay special attention to the note that will inform you on how to reverse these changes, if you so choose to. You do not need to reverse these changes and no program on your computer is deleted. They simply do not start, when your computer starts; you will need to manually start them.)
    Hold the Windows Key and press the letter "R"
    Type in "MsConfig" into the Run box that opens and press enter.
    Press the radial button next to "Selective Start-up"(Take note of where it says "Normal Start Up". If you press this and then "Apply" and "ok", then restart your computer, all changes made in this tool during these steps will be reversed.)
    Uncheck the "Load Start-Up Items" checkbox.
    Press on the "Services" tab located at the top of the box.
    Check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" checkbox.
    Press the "Disable All" button.
    Press Apply and Ok and you will be prompted to restart your computer.
    Please restart your computer.
    Launch your game and run the "Repair" from the launcher's game option, which are located in between the news title and the news articles.
    These steps will hopefully bring the version up to date. If the Version does not read 1.0.3 after the update and these steps you will have to wait for the next patch release that will update the version to 1.0.3, but crossing fingers this works!!

    Received yet another pathetic phone call whichndidnt resolve the issue again. Biggest waste of time call just went over everything I did with the last person. At the end of the call he said I would be contacted in game by a GM and if offline an email sent. This was meant to happen within the hour of the call. It has now been 3 hours. Just another example of poor customer service. How can I get a refund?

    It has now been 10 hours since I was promised contact within an hour. Yet another example of how *** ESO customer service is. Ill be sure to call them directly when their offices open up tonight. Maybe this will get some result

    well it has been over 16 hours since the promise was made to contact me. I just called bethsda office direct and went through the story of the issue. Another Game master was emailed to rectify this issue (hopefully he is not fully *** like the last one). The customer support on the phone asked me how much longer I was willing to give this Gm to either solve the issue or push me through the content to the next zone to continue leveling.
    I have given them 9 hours and at the end of that i will be seeking a full refund. Which the customer service operator agreed with and would assist.

    It is just a shame that the people you make first contact with are actually competent at their job its just the *** above them you are absolutely clueless and pathetic at the most basic part of their job (making contact). If teir 2 support could reduce their retardation factor even just slightly there would be much less qq on the forums
