Eastmarch quest-specific achievements bugged

All of the quests that should grant an achievement in this zone do not.
IIRC they are:
-Giant friend (Cadlecrush arena)
-Save the skald king
-Complete the final main quest and form the ebonheart pact.

The complete X quests on works, (and there are way more then enough quests available to get it)

Couldn't manage the PD one (Champion of the hall of the dead) - the old priest is either a mega rare/long spawn, or bugged. Other 4 + group challenge work fine.

Hopefully when this is fixed it's retroactive (or the relevant quests are reset so we can earn em)

These achievements are indeed bugged. I've sent bug reports in regarding all of them.

There are also several achievements for Public Dungeons that do not work correctly (Crow's Wood boss kills don't always register, among others).

As someone who strives to get every achievement, this is pretty frustrating. I really hope they are rewarded retroactively when they get fixed.

I did manage to get all the crow's wood PD achievements. (Buron has a slightly absurd 1 hour respawn time, but otherwise no issues)

The group challeng in the uhh 2nd ebonheart major PD (forgot the name) was bugged tho - kwama fight iirc. Completed what the obj said ,but no skill poitn and no achievement.

Also got the sanguines ones. (3rd major pd) They worked fine - tho this one has the oddness of the "group challenge" being easier then the non group bosses.

Yea same.. Though this game has a few that are just too ridiculous for me (loot 10k crafting nodes ugh), so won't be getting them all.. But will finish some of the categories probably, if I play the game long enough.
Really wish they didn't put in stupidly boring grind ones like that for us silly completionists.

Also the achievements are a bit ,... bland. No silly fun stuff like kill 7 bunnies or eat some maggot soup or jump to your death from X meters. All just the obvious "kill X, complete X important quest, do lots of grind"

Though if your a crazy completionist, wait tell you get idetic memory.. 2000+ books to unlock lol good luck.

Agreed, I like to do and collect Achievements and it would be quite a *** move if they would refuse to hand-out the achievements later on.

I think its impossible to collect all of them. There are many books in areas where you can only go once for a quest and never again, so if you didnt see one book or it was bugged you never have the chance again.
I came across a bugged book in a mage guild quest already which I was unable to read, so I guess that one is forever lost since its a solo quest. Also in the spawn areas in cyrodiil are books you probably cannot access. I found 3 books in the ebonheart spawn area for example. Not sure if you can invade the spawn are of other factions?

Just found another bugged letter in a quest only area It is bugged into the floor and no way to interact with it Tried from all angles. This is really "gamebreaking" for a completionist I guess

Believe you can spawn camp the enemy, heard some friends mention doing it. Can also just stealth and get in there that way (though the npc guards have very good spot skills)

However yea you can't complete the books as they are severely bugged:
- Got tons of the skillpoint ones - probably close to all of them: Still shows 0 collected.
- Was at 282 books. Next day I log in im at 270. Some just seem to get forgotten.
- Aside from skillpoints, several categories are just plain broken. EG: The five companions: Most of the books are just laying there in the harborage, and ive clicked em a bunch, but that still says 0 too.
- Lots of bookshelves are randomized. So some amount of luck would be needed.
- Though "only" 2300 books ingame, there are probably 10k+ bookshelves/books/scrolls to read, tons of duplicates/random.


Guess you can kinda complete it if you use the librarian addon, as it maybe more accurate at keeping your list.. Though youd have to go thru and verify youd got all 2300+ manually at the end heh.

So I wouldn't say it's plain impossible with that addon, just insanely unreasonably difficult. (and unprovable since the addon data can probably be manipulated)

Think they should add an achievement got getting a reasonable amount tho (maybe say 1k), could be fun for some.

Yes the eidetic memory is bugged like hell. I got it yesterday and experience the same bugs:

Guess I have to reroll my character once it is fixed. Such a shame with all crafts at 20+ already.

exact same issue, opened a ticket, waiting to see what will happen, no titles no achies but quests did count towards the total.

Well it's almost a month later and Giant-Friend still does not award. I completed the quest, can they fix this along with all of the others?

These are fixed in the upcoming craglorn patch.

Retroactively or not? Whos to say.
