dual wield vs 2hanfers in pvp

Hello,
I was playing in pve with my dragon knight using dual wield and all was awsome, realy nice aoe and single target dmg, but now i wanted to try pvp and compared to the 2h users i think i lack a huge dmg ability when target gets under % HP, like execute for 2h. i can survive with the tought i have no charge since i have the chain pull even if does not do same super dmg.
Whirlwind says it does incresed dmg when target is low HP, anyone knows if its close to execute skill?I tryed it and dmg was meh...
My main rotation is Empowering chains, burning breath for 40% armour debuff, rapid strikes a few times, then whirlwind, last spot is for green dragon blood.

I too play a dragon knight and started with dual wield, and have come to greatly prefer 2hand over it. Though I have not started PvP yet either.

At least in principle Whirlwind works just like all the other executes. Once the health of the opponent(s) drops below a certain threshold, damage multipliers start to apply.

For Whilrwind, the first threshold is at 50% and the highest multiplier I have seen so far is x3. The other executes' tooltip say up to 300% bonus damage ( i.e. x4 ), so there may be a lower maximum multiplier for Whirlwind. I haven't tested that yet to confirm it one way or the other.

Afaik Whirlwind is the only AoE execute in the game and that makes it one of the very best skills for PbAoE bombing. In PvP I wouldn't try that outside of an organised group though.

burst is always the the goal in all pvp games. All of them. 2h delivers that.

I have been trying DW in PvP and it seems lack luster mostly due to the lack of CC/Damage (in one ability!) as compared to 2h. Uppercut hits hard and gives CC so its really good there.

Yes Whirlwind seems to function like other executes (up to +300%) it's quite good even on single targets. I use the stam regen morph for leveling atm. I would guess for pvp the Steel Tornado morph would be good making it a huge aoe (25m diameter, biggest?)
