1 campaign per character

Greetings,

I'm quite shocked that the PvP are bound to account, and not character. I've created an ebonheart character, playing on wabbajack to play alone, and an Aldmeri dominion character to play together with my girlfriend (This way, I don't have to do the same PvE quests again)

But my aldmeri dominion character is bound to wabbajack too! So if I want to play in PvP with my GF, it means that I will fight to remove bonuses to my Pact character! How stupid is that??!!

Worse, it also mean that I can fight against my own Pact guild!

This is pure stupidity! Please allow us to have one campaign per character (or at least per alliance)

I noticed this too, my alt had been assigned to the same campaign as my main (one is Ebonheart, the other DC). I thought they were supposed to be blocked from being in the same campaign??

Not only this.. but if you create and raise up a character from each faction, then entire guilds (or like minded people) can effectively change the entire course of a battlefield.

It should be locked in by character, and if you want your alt to join a campaign, you need to pay to unbind your main character, then bind that alt... just to keep things "balanced"ish.

Hehe that doesn't do anything for pushing any kind of resolution from Zenimax.

Lame, they did state originally that only characters of the same alliance could be in the same campaigns. Opposing alliance characters were supposed to be restricted from servers you already had characters on.

Huh. So this still isn't working....

They promised that you wouldn't be able to have characters on multiple sides in one campaign.

In retrospect, the fact that we could still do so on the PTS after the 1.0 patch should have raised some flags. Looks like they forgot to patch that out.

Quick check, are you just seeing the bonuses and leader board on your alt, or have you gotten it to level 10 and tries to enter a campaign?

My alt isn't level 10 yet but I get all the bonuses of the faction from the campaign that my main joined. I'm surprised this somehow made it past them... It would be great if at the very least we could switch campaigns on other chars for free.

ZOS, could you please comment this? (even if it's just to tell us it is under investigation, or that it is planned and will come "soon"...)

Well now I'm confused. How can you have characters of different factions in the same campaign when the game doesn't allow me to set my 2nd DC character to the same campaign as the first?
Not like there's an error popping up or anything, it just doesn't set the home campaign.
Something seems bugged here and I'd sure like to know what.
