ohdear one of those dodgy downloads.
Take point other readers : Ask yourself why the OP couldn't just write it down with a link directly to the SweetFX website, and instead is pointing to a very dodgy link?

    Just some food for thought.

Right i'm sure... again... dodgy link.

Could have used "dropbox" or something, which is more reputable and for sure keeps keyloggers etc out of their system.

    Omg stop it

link is fine, it's just a .rar with all the setuped files inside. Stop thinking the world wants to destroy your computer

Not really a guide.. and I would suggest googling SweetFX and downloading the most recent.

I agree with the guy who says dont click links and download strange files. This might be safe but thats a bad practice to be in. Someone can slip a keylogger onto your system very easily this way. Modify it slightly and the anti virus will not recognize it anymore.

For some reason, SweetFX has stopped working with ESO as of 1 or 2 days ago, anyone have a reason why? Did Zenimax patch block it? Did a setting in-game change?

Also a official Statement on the use of SweetFX would be nice... hello Zenimax? Are we allowed to use ENBs and SweetFX to improve visual Quality ?

Btw, just noticed my Nvidia AA Override is no longer working as well...

Push for official Statement on SweetFX :-D Since this does not give any gameplay advantage in anyway, I'd expect it to be allowed, but would really like to hear from official side!

No pictures to see before and after, and I'm not trawling through that reddit page to look for it either when you should've presented it to me on the first post

For those wondering, this is the official reply I got from them...
The only modifications that are allowed to be used under the terms of service are AddOns created to alter the UI using our API. Therefore any other changes to the client files will be considered a violation of the terms of service. You can find information on AddOns and the API here http://wiki.esoui.com/Main_Page

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

So unfortunately the usage of any injector -based addons is NOT allowed. SweetFX and ENBSeries fall under this category, unfortunately.

Which actually means it can be used. There is no modification with sweetFX, sweetFX is no addon, UI isnt going to be altered.

On reddit there is a post which says sweetFX does not alter the game.

edit: Zenimax is not giving any clarification regarding sweetFX, only about addon policy :S

enb can never be used as it has access to the depth buffer of games which can be used to cheat, sweetfx doesnt use this which is why games have allowed it till now

some guys from the customer support just dont know *** pardon my french. ZOS already stated it had nothing against sweetfx or enb

"It is safe, I got in touch with ZOS about using this beautiful SweetFX. Here are the emails if interested. Reason I asked this was because the last post had a lot of concern over using this in ESO.
Me: I read a forum where someone has enabled SweetFX in The Elder Scrolls Online. This SweetFX removed the red tint which honestly is much easier on the eyes and an overall more clear look! Now this is just my opinion and I understand that, but my question is would it be okay if other players and I used SweetFX in The Elder Scrolls Online? Without the concerns of a ban or something else? I respect ZOS which is the reason I'm asking this, plus I'd hate to see other players banned for this. Thanks for your time, and hope to see you in Tamriel!

    ZOS: Greetings traveler!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team

In order, to better assist you with this question we will be transferring it to our mod team. They will get in contact with you as soon as possible.

Warm regards, and yes see you in Tamriel!

    The Elders Scroll Online Team
Me: You guys over at ZOS respond so quick and you listen/respond to community feedback so well, it's awesome. Which just makes my physical collector's edition purchase I made back in February even better. Tell everyone around you I said thanks for the customer service. I work at Amazon and love when another company is so friendly. Okay I'm done lol!

    ZOS: Greetings Traveller!

Any software that you use without it influencing other players is okay for us, as long as it´s on your system only. We do not support any 3rd party software obviously, but if you want to try, there´s no harm done. =)

If there´s anything else I can do, please let me know.

Kind Regards Cedric The Elder Scrolls Online Team"
