guild quests

I'm wondering if there is a special way to get the guild quests i have completed all of the fighters guild quests all the way to the level 43 one but i haven't got a mages guild quest since around level 30ish. when i got the fighters guild quests someone just ran up to me but that has not happened with the mages guild for some time. if there is something i'm missing plz help!
