Character stuck with Death Screen Filter

At some point a few days ago I was playing on one of my characters and ended up suffering a little lag spike, causing me to die because of a group of mobs. I revived myself at the nearest wayshrine when I ran into a silly little bug - the wierd black and blue filter that renders you near colorblind when you die was still there. I laughed, it seemed funny at the time, and I logged out for the night. I came on today and for some strange reason that filter is still there whenver I log onto that character. No other characters - I recently made another character that did NOT have the bug, but this one seems to be less then lucky.

I find it hard to do anything with this bug because it makes the environment so dark and muddy that it's almost literally like playing the game colorblind. In a dark room. With your eyes closed.

Has anyone else run into this bug? Does anyone know is there's a simple solution I'm missing to fixing this outside of having to remake the character? I've tried restarting the game several times and toying with the graphics settings, but no such luck.

I haven't ran into that exact bug, but I have had the "being damaged" filter stuck on my character, so the edge of my screen was just always pulsing red every so often. I haven't logged on yet today to see if it went away or not.

This is definitely an odd bug to pop up. It may be something where some lag prevented the graphical UI from reloading properly. The first thing you want to try in game is the /reloadui command in the chat window. This can sometimes fix issues with graphic elements not updating. If that doesn't work, try the /stuck command and see if that forces the screen to reset. Finally, you can try lowering the graphic settings, then changing them back to see if that gets things to update.

I've got a similar bug, I was doing the questline for "Dread Vullain" in Greenshade, the npc casted a spell on me that look like a blue filter, i finished the quest and the blue filter stayed.......

I tryed:
* /reloadui
* /stuck
* lowering the graphics settings to minimal and then gone back to Ultra, no change the blue filter is still here....
* I've also tryed to relog/disconnect/quitting the game and closing the launcher
* reboot my PC, no change....!

Please help it's a awfull bug, I can't play like this !!!

EDIT: Going through the north gate of Marbruk seems to fix the problem of the blue screen and i'm very happy about that, but it's still kind of bugged since a npc pop on the other side of the door and start following you around and i have no quest left in the region of greenshade and the npc should actually be the new Sylvennar since i've already finish is questline....

This happened to me as well. I am about to give up on this game. Before at least I could play the game somewhat. Now my main character is 23 levels of useless.

Same problem here: after completing a quest in Greenshade (where one gets warped to a dark Oblivion environment), my character is stuck in a very dark environment. We were in a group of 3, one player got switched back to daylight, me and another player didnt.
All mesures listed above (/reloadui, relogging, rebooting computer, changing the video settings, etc) have been tried with no result.
Only this toon is affected, the others are all fine.
I sent in a petition and am now waiting on an answer.

EDIT: using the northern Marbruk portal (zoning out AND back) did indeed help. I also had the NPC Indaenir following me around for awhile but i somehow managed to loose him in Marbruk...
