Leveling Woodworking past 40

Is there any reason to level your craft skills past 40? I got my Woodcrafting to 40 and just now maxed out all the skills, however I still have 10 levels to go but no more skills to unlock.

Is there anything that scales with your crafting level? Does the stats on items differ depending on level such as traits? I know the materials you can get from Hirelings scales with crafting level, but I only use Hirelings for Resin, anyway. I've never noticed any scaling going on as I level up in anything else.

If the last 10 levels mean nothing I'd much rather sell all white items and only deconstruct for Resin so I can work on Clothing and not fill my inventory with Woodworking crap. I'll cap it eventually, for completion sake, but right now I'd rather level efficiently in crafting before I reach VR10.
