Hey folks, some of you may remember during beta I had a post (which they deleted all beta posts for some reason) which included a CONTROLLER GUIDE video for Elder Scrolls Online.

Well since we have hit release I have listened to all the feedback I got on the original video and have update the guide. I considered posting this in the UI and Mod section, but technically it is not a Mod.

This guide will show you how to use a controller utilizing a program known as XPadder. If you are interested check it out!

Windows Users - If Xpadder is loaded and working normally but STOPS working in-game, run Xpadder in Administrative Mode. That could clear it right up.

Also, don't expect too much from Xpadder. It's a great little program, but ESO needs to come out with its own controller scheme for the PC (I dunno, like importing from the console versions?). The PC ESO UI is over-complicated and not particularly controller-friendly. Xpadder just can't compensate for that (though it might be serviceable for basic things).

Thanks to jkkennedytv , Xpadder works with my Wireless controller for my pc, I try ed to use his files but some how they had issues, so just followed his great video and do every think he has in his setup video. I had change the mouse speed to 70 in xpadder settings, but it is not that busy if you print out the little mini manual and make a screen shot of xpadders tab 1, and Tab 2 , Tab 3, then print. then before you know not to hard for the old brain to handle.

Glad it was helpful to you @DBL_OT‌.

@Madpoet440‌ is correct in that XPadder is not capable of creating a fluid use for menus and such. Hopefully at some point there is greater mod support or ZOE actually puts in controller support. Until then I have designed what I could.

Interesting this is all possible but my expectations have to remain high... It must work with the wireless controller and must be uncomplicated (better then the keyboard) in battle. I'm often wondering how all the keyboard functions will work out on the new console controllers and wish ZOS would provide 360 wireless controller functions for the PC right NOW!

I'd like to think it will make fighting, dodging, potions, and active skills much easier and make my fighting ability much improved--that's what I expect.

So many improvements needed in the game--so little time.
