Crows Wood (possible spoilers)

I am looking for the last two bosses in this pocket realm of Oblivion. They are Buron and Wrathvenom. Does anyone know where they are to be found ?

You check all the caves for possible spawns? If I remember right Buron spawns in a cave close to the area with all the wisps.

Buron spawns in the cave just north of the burned down cottage (almost opposite of the Moonlit Maiden, who spawns south of it). No idea about Wrathvenom yet.

I found Buron where Epkemon mentioned still looking for Wrathvenom. My guess it is a spider but not seen it as of yet.

Found him. He's at the Crow Mother's tower, to the right as you approach it (there's a group of spiders here). He's got a lengthy spawn timer, but when he does spawn, it's at the far back.

Thank you for this, I waited there for a bit and had no joy, pleased to see my feelings were correct about the spot. Will head back and see if he is there in the morning.

She is near the waters edge behind the house.

Yeah so seems the achivment for this is bugged.. done them all thrice and only got half of them counted for the achivment so far. Seems to be that you need to be the last hit on the boss before it counts.

I noticed this as well on a few of the bosses. I had killed two before whilst in a group but never got the last hit in. So now I have to go back and do them again. I just couldn't confirm if it was a bug or I had missed something.

Thx for this, I only managed to find the first champion and spent ages running all around looking for the others and found nothing. I shall return.

You need to get the last hit in to get the achievement from killing them. I think this is a bug so I sent in a report. If everyone can do the same maybe the devs will looks into it.

Actually I was in a group that had the opposite experience - whichever of us got the first hit got achievement credit and no one else did in our party, so we cycled through a few times till everyone got it. VERY annoying and this needs to be fixed. It had better be a bug and not working as intended - as everyone in a party that contributes to a kill should get achievement credit.

Did this achievement and these are a few of my observations if they can help any...

First, you will not get credit unless you're the one who apparently gets the kill shot or who kills it solo at higher level. We tried it with me getting the first hit and someone else getting the last hit and they got the credit (with the last hit)..
(Hopefully this is fixed because pure healers of this level and groups of this level will have a hard time)

Matron of the night or Moonlit, forget her name. Is she bugged? No spawns for an hour then 3-4 in a row and with 15-20 adds. The adds got me as a level 18 templar after a while and I had to rez there and restart, killing it faster so all these adds don't spawn. No, a group of level 7-8 likely cannot handle all these adds. And I'm not talking about whisps here, I mean they were ''nightmother'' type adds. I think that Zeni may want to recheck this mob.

Spawn timer is purely random it seems. The spider and the night mother took me and someone else (we were 18 and 24 in level) well over an hour, maybe 2 while some had spawned 10-14x in between. Now, I get that an achievement needs to be worked on. It's why it's an achievement. I just wish that Zeni told us what to expect.

Levels and killing or not killing: It seemed that in some cases, the Moonlit for example, she would only spawn if the wisps around were not killed. If so, kinda silly. These are my observations btw. Could be 100% wrong but this is based on 4 kills of her, trying to establish patterns. The spider hadn't spawned for my group companion for around an hour then I told her to try to not kill anything for a while and the spider spawned. For my spider kill, we killed them a few times and then it spawned. So random? Kill a few times then wait? Not sure.

As for levels, it seems that the higher level you are, the longer you may wait. I grouped with lower levels when I first got there and these champions seemed to spawn over and over again. Of course, I got killshots and they didn't get credit and I couldn't even heal outside of group to get them credit.

I hope that any of this are theories that you want to build on and see, unless Zeni makes some fixes or makes things clear of course. Good luck. The ach is possible. I got it. Expect 2+ hours mostly.

Yeah, this is still happening. I was in a party of 2, level 13 and level 12. We killed Moonlit and Buron, but only I got the credit for Moonlit, and he got the credit for Buron. This bug is really annoying...

wrathvenom Ghyslain can be summoned if I recall it correctly. You have to kill some
kind of ghosts (wraths?) at a specific location and he will show up. Doesn't count as a boss ...

Correct. Ghyslain is part of a group challenge and can be summoned if you kill the Soul Wraiths. He is not a "champion" of Crow's Wood.

Ghyslain is bugged we killed him with 2 ppl a lot of kiteing. No loot, acheveiment, exp. This ad vet content in crowswood. Not sure if this is the right place for this but ad forums are a mess.

These bosses are just not spawning, ive spent an hour going back and forth and only got 2 out of 5.

EDIT: Now at 4/5. This is extremely ridiculous with how long it takes for a boss here to respawn.

I killed Grizzlehide, but did not get any credit. I've been back there several times because he is my last champion needed and every time he will not spawn.

He does spawn.

And I have found other public dungeons with the same bug. If you attack the mob and are not delivering the killing blow whether in a group or not you do not get the achievement recognition for it.
