Werent they usually 2000-2500? Now were upping the price to 4000? lol

I believe it's 4k because the bundle also contains the weapon pages, but I agree, 4k is quite a lot, especially since there are so many outfits released all the time, some for free.

I guess but still very pricey imo tbh...3000 for the added weapons seems more appropriate imo

it is technically cheaper than one would expect.
Arms Packs and Armor Packs generally cost 2500 Crowns each, together that would be 5000.

With motifs you are paying for the convenience to get it immediately instead of earning it in-game.

Bundles are generally cheaper than its items would be separately together, but i am not wrong about the cost of Arms and Armor Packs

Costumes are cosmetic. They are not required to and don't impact game play.

Everyone in this thread has been comparing the price of one cosmetic to another. No one is debating the game play value of these items.

And how would you do that? The "value" depends from one player to another. Some have no interest in cosmetic items, others might really want a certain outfit for a specific character, even if it doesn't add more stats. For example, right now the new padomey dress from apex rewards is very popular. Lots of players have spent a lot on crates to get it by chance or gems (400), which is probably more than 4k crowns.

You compare them by using the price range ZOS has established for such items. As others pointed out previously, the new items seem more expensive, but when you add it all up, it is actually cheaper then buying everything separately. It seems weird to state cosmetic items don't affect game play when everyone realizes this, and no one was suggesting otherwise.

For me, it was 8 million gold. But yeah, someone has to buy those Crowns—just not me.

But it wasn't just the weapons—it was also the rest of the gear (cheat, gloves, etc.), which is probably why the price was higher...

It’s only 2-2.2k for crown store motifs (Tsaesci, Grim Harlequin, Frostcaster). The non-exclusive motifs they upcharge by 150%-200% (5-6k) to make up for buyers not running the content or incentivizing those who do. But after they tried to raise the price of the pirate costume pack by over 250% recently, I’m sure they would charge a lot more for these if they were first offered now. The price ranges of 2-2.2k for exclusives and 5-6k for non-exclusives are quite old (the 6k even dates back to at least 2017 for discokitty), but they’re pretty much stuck with them now. Any attempts to relabel older items with higher prices tend to be quickly caught and called out by the community.

Prices are still crazy...times where outfits in online games were 10 bucks are long gone...there is currently a good thread on reddit about it just to demonstrate how crazy some prices have gotten...

Oh, I remember the days outfits were anywhere from 400-700 crowns. 1k was considered egregious. Marketing does not gaf, sadly. Greedy.
