Update 50 Inc.1 Live Patch Notes: All Platforms

This is the first incremental patch for Update 50 in The Elder Scrolls Online. This incremental addresses issues introduced during Update 50 launch. If you do not see an issue listed here, we have more scheduled for the second incremental.

In this patch, you will see some general fixes for Werewolf and a combat adjustment to Mythic Item Shattered Path Signet. We are keeping an eye on this item, based on PTS feedback, current feedback, and data we are reviewing.

Additionally, there are some fixes for Vengeance, Player Experience Improvement items, Tamriel Tomes and more. These fixes are more general and address proper function to provide a better experience for you.

        • Concentrated Barrier: Fixed an issue where this passive was not considered a proc and could trigger other effects.

      • Werewolf
        • Slot passives will no longer be activated while in werewolf form if the player respecs with the ability slotted on an inactive bar.
        • The Werewolf’s Claw Fury damage impacts no longer cause silent audio. Sounds should now play as expected.
        • Fixed an issue with NPC death animations when killed by Werewolf’s Slaughter.
        • The Werewolf tattoo effects will now smoothly fade in and out of existence when Rampage is ready to cast and once Rampage has completed.

      • Mythic Items
        • Shattered Path Signet: This set's damage done with status effects now only applies to monsters. Reduced the maximum damage bonus from 170% to 133%, and reduced the Ultimate required to reach the cap to 133, down from 170. Reduced the cooldown for applying Status Effects when at the maximum Ultimate threshold to 2 seconds at 133 Ultimate, down from 4s at 170.

          [Developer Comment]
          We're making a handful of targeted adjustments to remove this set's overwhelming presence in PvP by removing the large damage bonus to status effects from PvP areas, while simultaneously gently reigning in the ceiling potential of the set overall. At the same time, we’re bumping up the floor by reducing the cooldown for this set to apply status effects.

        • Players currently in Vengeance will no longer be able to equip the Vengeance Yew Shield or Ebon Axe/Mace/Sword. Players loading into Vengeance will no longer receive those items.

      • Fixed an issue that could crash the game at launch on a PC running an older version of Windows 10.
      • Fixed two issues with Path to Adventure, the new/early player golden pursuit:
        • Path to Adventure now awards the correct amount of seals.
        • You will now receive all valid rewards.

      • Quen now bestows the original Thieves Guild questline in all Outlaws Refuges.
      • Fa'ren-dar has returned to the Hew's Bane guild hideout for all your heist-related needs.
      • Cursed Treasure Quest: The Green Aegis has returned.
      • White Mask of Merien: The Salve Cabinet can now be opened again.
      • Gone Missing: A’tor’s Oasis is once again open for business.

      • The Weekly Challenge "Defeat Bogdan the Nightflame or Lord Warden Dusk" can now be consistently completed.
      • Clarified the Weekly Challenge "Complete Incursions" also counts for World Events.
    • UI
      • Fixed an issue where it was possible to keep seeing the "Transaction Cancelled" error message despite a successful purchase on Steam after originally cancelling the purchase.
      • Fixed an issue that could cause a UI error when the game adds new Challenges to the Challenges UI.
      • Gamepad UI: Fixed an issue that caused mouse-over preview of rewards to be hidden while previewing rewards in fullscreen.

      • The "Path to Adventure" announcement panel on Gamepad UI now takes you to the Golden Pursuits menu.
