Can't use favor in NM

When I look at my NM vendor I only see prices in gold not favor. Is there something else I need to do. I joined Thousand Eyes, so I have a faction... I want to spend my favor before it ends.

Favor isn't a currency, its just a point system to unlock the ability to buy the night market vendor items with gold.

Indeed, but it should be both.

    <- 31,000 favour.

No, there is nothing you need to do with favor.
You only get favor to open some goods and achievements. You don't spend it.
After you reach 10k favor, you obtain everything you can about favor, so you do not really need to gain more of it.

While it would be good to have something for our continuous favor collection (I'm sitting on useless 35k at the moment), it gives us nothing with the current implementation.

SO what about ESO hub with it listing of both prices? 70k gold, or 5000 favor for a gold equipment box?

You need to reach certain thresholds before you will be able to buy certain items. 1000, 5000 and 10000 are those milestone.s

I never trusted anything but uesp and official news.
Not the first time I see players misinformed by eso hub materials though.

At 10K, you unlock the ability to buy your faction's monster helm shoulder pieces, and I think there's one furnishing that unlocks. While it's not all that hard to get favor through quest-sharing (and multiple characters to boost the quest-sharing), 10K is still a bit of an ask.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

ESO Hub has had wrong info in some respects about the game before, as has UESP. But this is what I see on the ESO Hub website. The fact Favor is not consumed is clearly stated. It’s even highlighted (not by me). Since it isn’t consumed, it can’t be spent as an alternative to gold. I don’t know if there’s another place on the site where this is less clear, though.

I don't know why you gave me that.
It is not my problem what is written on some site. It is not my job to check this info or correct it.
I literally said "I see players misinformed", and it should be taken literally.

I posted it here to prevent the spread of more misinformation.
