For those that are not as interested in the combat or the rest of your guild is offline and you're wanting to do some questing in the Night Market, this build is for you.

It leverages vampire stage four with three sets in particular: Coward's Gear, Prisoner's Rags, and Stormweaver's Cavort.
4pwgjgz2xhzs.pngajsqboa1f7nx.png8skgolzkkwnx.png

Coward's gear comes from battleground rewards but can also be purchased from guild traders. Prisoner's rags can be found in Coldharbour as well as guild traders. Finally Stormweaver's Cavort is a mythic that was released with Galen and the leads generally require a bit of luck to find but the most difficult content is a world boss and lava vents which you may need to do without a lot of help if you don't have the mythic already. (Lead locations shown in link)

The reason stage 4 vampire is important is because of the final passive, Unnatural Movement:
8dp4r32famhu.png

So here's how it works: by sprinting for 3 seconds as a stage 4 vampire, we enter stealth and remain in stealth so long as we continue to sprint. Coward's gear gives us major expedition (+30% speed) and major protection (-10% damage) while sprinting. At the same time Prisoner's Rags is giving us 1000 magicka recovery as we sprint. And the cherry on top is Stormweaver's Cavort which now makes sprinting cost magicka -- in addition to a host of other core abilities.

Class is not important, but I would suggest having the Assassination skill line so we can slot Concealed Weapon on one of our bars which will give us minor expedition (+15% speed) just for having on the bar. Resolving Vigor is also very useful just to top off our health as we invariably stumble into wrong areas or get into trouble when we stop at quest markers. Dodge roll is also our friend but no need to overdo it. Side note: stage four vamps do not recover health on their own so a self heal like vigor is vital.

Combining all of this together we can sprint very quickly while being hidden from NPCs and navigate our way through the market.

Which armor is slotted where does not impact the build greatly as both light and medium armor have passives that buff sprint -- medium is a little more helpful for what it is worth. As far as CP goes, in the red tree we have Celerity to boost our base speed, and in the green tree we have Steed's Blessing which buffs our speed so long as we don't get in combat. Is that even necessary? Likely we're at or near speed cap already so probably not too important to be concerned with. There's refreshing stride in the red tree but I think neither the mag or health recovery applies due to stage 4 vamp and stormweaver's cavort.

Swift jewelry may actually be overkill, I didn't do the math on that, so maybe just go infused or bloodthirsty instead if you stumble upon a group of players and decide to help them.

Race doesn't really matter either. Wood elves get a speed buff but again, may not even be needed

Additionally I have a video that outlines most or all of the above, as well as a short demonstration of the build in action as I complete one of the Night Market quests. Hopefully this helps.

And use the group finder to find groups.

So much funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. So this is what you’re suggesting players do? Just skip the game if they want to play solo?
How do you kill bosses? How do you complete all other quests? Always in stealth? If that build is for "solo players," how are you supposed to do quests solo with that? Are you joking???... Well, at least you’re more fun than ZoS, that’s for sure.

Eventually you encounter groups of players fighting bosses and such, just jump in and join them. This setup won't do nearly as much damage but you'll still get credit.

And the group finder is great, it works well. I used it to get a group yesterday before my friends jumped on.

Yes, because the content can be done by groups with solo builds, pvp builds, group builds, probably naked builds.

But why are you using a solo build in group content? Ah… right! Because the solo build is for solo players playing solo… but they can’t solo. And that’s why you need the group finder. OK, makes perfect sense!

You're just using the group finder to have other people around. You don't have to play intensely with them like it's a dungeon. Everyone knows it's a group zone.

Guys on a crusade to play solo for this content. No advice will change his mind. I will give it to him, he's tried playing the content at least.

Did you reply to me before even reading the topic? The topic title is: "[BUILD] Night Market Stealth and Speed Build For Solos Bookmark." Have you read it at least? Yes?
Then tell me… if the OP is suggesting this build for solo players, my point is: why do you need the group finder? To play with others? Fair. Then why do you need a solo build?! Is this build good for group finder? Sure, like anything. You can go in naked; no one cares. So… what’s the point of this build?!

And of course, you can play solo with this or any other build… but you have to skip the game with it: Die, go ghost, do the quest. Die, go ghost, do the quest & repeat.

Do you understand why “solo” and “group finder” don’t mix? They don’t fit together, right? No?

The suggestion of the group finder was somewhat separate from the build concept, just wanted to reiterate what others have been saying as an alternative to playing with a guild or discord group, which is what i normally do myself with a more proper dps build (with extra self heals).

OK, then what exactly is the point of your build? What are you trying to show? A “special build” to do quests? Bro…
-> die -> go ghost -> Search for quest -> do the quest...
-> die -> go ghost -> Search for quest -> do the quest.…

why would anyone need a build for questing? I did them all as a ghost! So, what exactly is the point of your build? Skip the game? I did it as a ghost, 100% easier than crafting items\builds. oO

    EDIT:
If you have something truly "special" for solo players, people who want to play the game their own way, enjoy the market without pressure or any other motive, I believe solo players don’t need to justify why they play solo. Do they?

OK then, if you have anything "special" for those players that actually helps them play the game, then please… show us. I’m pretty sure everyone would like it.

But you have nothing, because there is nothing. Because ZOS doesn’t want solo players playing solo. And that’s why your build doesn’t make any sense. Even ZOS excludes them from the game. It excludes me from enjoying the game, and others too. And your build, or any other, won’t solve that problem.

We’re talking about “solo builds” here, so keep it in solo mode and let’s exclude the group finder… yeah, why not. Excluding everyone and everything is common now…

The whole point of this build is so you don't have to spam deaths. You can do the dailies solo without a group and then join up with the group for district bosses.

And yes I have advice for doing it solo

Hey just threw it together on a whim in case anyone wanted to try it out. Some people just don’t like dying? Better to beat the system then. Try it or don’t, play the game or don’t, allow people to try different things if they want.

You don’t even need to group, just latch onto the blob of players when you find it. Get credit, move on.

Rather than making the same reply or statements as everyone else, I suggested a build. Better to give alternatives than to add to the vitriol.

I’ll be back out there tonight in a regular dps build hanging with my friends in discord and having a good time while clearing the content. Best of luck to you as well

What if people don't want to through the agony of doing BG? Guild traders? What if they do not want to do vampire stage 4?

Love the suggestion and all the work put into providing this information. I think it's a great option for some solo players interested in the stealthy option.

And nevermind the guy that seems dedicated on hating every thing. :D

Should be pretty cheap on guild traders, but it might take a bit of effort to find decent traits if you don’t want to mess with transmuting. Honestly traits are a fairly minimal concern in this regard so that may make it easier.

As for stage 4 vamp, it’s not entirely necessary but you’ll definitely take some more hits as you run around so I’d suggest a second heal over time or burst heal to go with vigor

I love the build and think it is great you are giving players alternative solutions to grouping unless they want too.

I built a stealthy rouge type using Trainee head piece for health but anything could have been used including additional mag, stam, mag recovery or stam recovery although I do not use much stamina. The other major sets are Ring of the Wild Hunt, Night Mother's Embrace, and Darloc Brae's. The skills are Shadowy Disguise, Refreshing Path, Elude, Charging Maneuver, Revealing Flare, and Barrier. All body is divines with stam but will probably change to mag, dual daggers with hardening, and swift on all jewelry. Mundus is Atro and food is Clockwork Citrus Filet.

I use Shadowy Disguise as much as possible, especially around bosses because you cannot hide in those areas. I am absolutely flying through the zone and got all those zone quests done in no time. With this build, you can easily do all the zone quests without dying, run away and barely take damage if detected.

Then dont use the build? Or adapt it accordingly? Like all builds it is a suggestion not a requirement.
